It was shut for "temporary refurbishment" although it looked pretty permanent.

We really enjoyed the meal and the whole experience at TokyoPizza. We tried many items on the menu to sample as much as we could of what was on offer. All were good and as I am trying to reduce weight I ordered the BeefRib Japanese Rice Bowl. We also had the short rib pizza, vegetable gyoza, salmon tacos, garluc butter bread and spicy dips. Combined with a wonderful Sake and a bottle of Chardonnay it was a good hearty meal for 2 of us. Service was polite and excellent. Ambiance for a date night first class but good venue too for a party table if wanted. I couldn't fault the venue, food or service and will be back soon...having read some less than excellent reviews from others, I can assure potential visitors that we were really happy with everything at TokyoPizza.

Nice Pizza although didn't get a particularly Japanese vibe. Waitress was appalling though

If you expect Japanese food, this is not the place, but if you want to try something new taste, then, this is the right place!

Hi Gaki, Thanks for your kind review. Indeed, we describe ourselves as a Japanese Pizzeria i.e. a pizzeria in Japan. Our whole menu is unique and our fusion has never been done before, so we completely agree that it's somewhat unexpected. Our whole menu is infused with Japanese products, ingredients, toppings, sauces and flavour profiles however, so it does have the essence of Japan. We're grateful for your visit and hope to see you again soon!!

I have been a few times to the restaurant since the beginning of this year, and overall the pizza has been nice and crispy, and the experience in the restaurant has been excellent. However with my last visit in April the pizza has not been so great and the pizza has lost its crispiness compared with it before. In addition, I waited for the Apple Crumble dessert for about 45mins whereas the table next to us who ordered much later got the same dessert within 10mins therefore I feel the level of service very inconsistent. With that in mind, it will be difficult for me to continue to recommend Tokyo Pizza to my friends until improvements are made.

They did a great job of looking after a large group of us who booked at short notice. Wonderful food, great atmosphere and a really enjoyable evening.

We had a lovely time, food was great and the service was really attentive and friendly. Was asked straight away if we felt warm enough where we were seated so she could put the heating up for us. Would definitely come again! Thank you

Tokyo Pizza is a great place. We went there for our Team Christmas Dinner and was awesome. The place has some sort of private rooms all around so it's not a noisy restaurant. The food is outstanding, we tasted pretty much the whole menu and every single dish was great (half of the team is italian so the menu is italian approved hahahaha). Service was great, we enjoyed everything a lot. Highly recommended.
