   We are frequent customers of Tommy Bahama. We love the food and the ambiance. The service today was truly exceptional. Our server was so kind and attentive. However, we did notice the menu prices have increased significantly. Specifically, the mahi mahi tacos used to be $21 for a plate of 3. They are now $20 for two. Several other menu items were also changed to increase the prices. It's just becoming more and more expensive to dine out in Newport. Disappointing.

   We had a great experience sitting out side on the patio. Wether was very cooperative on 12/30. We had a very good lunch and our server Madelyn K was fantastic.

   Food is always good here. Had a reservation issue and we had to wait 25 minutes past our reserved time. Not happy with the margarita I ordered, with a price tag of $16, as it seemed to have little to no alcohol. Otherwise an enjoyable experience.

   Overall the experience was fine - not as great as previous visits - mainly given the seating. We requested standard indoor seating but ended up still being sat outside on the patio as it was a busy holiday weekend- so they may have likely overbooked. After asking numerous times to be sat closer to heaters, turning up the heater and asking for addl heaters to be moved to our table- our server moved us to another nearby table that opened up where there were more heaters. The food and our server were great but the seating experience was not a great start to the meal. If a restaurant has to seat patrons outdoors during the winter months due to busy periods- then they should ensure customers are comfortable with enough heating coverage for each table, and seats for those tables.

   First of all, they claim to have indoor and outdoor seating but when we arrived we were told they were not obligated to honor our selection. Therefore, the option is useless. Second, we had to wait for 35 minutes to be seated. So what is the use of a reservation. Third, once seated it took two hours to complete our dinner as the service was extremely slow. While the service time was awful, the server was attentive and good at his job. And while the service time was awful the quality of the food we ordered was excellent. Too bad their service time sucked. Unless you have time to waste don't bother.

    Coconut shrimp and rolls always a favorite. Both of our entrees were delicious. It was my husband’s birthday and the key lime pie was wonderful.
