   Started off great. Then the server asked if we really wanted more bread with our warm mozzarella appetizer. For real? He said we had a lot of food coming. Mind you if I would have known that the salmon piccata was going to be what it was I would have ordered a loaf of bread!!! Soup course was awesome potato leek, great flavor. We then had an awesome fusilli pasta after the soup. Great dish. And the table hasn’t been cleared or marked after any of the courses. Elementary at best. Then comes the dreaded Salmon piccata orzo sun dried tomato catastrophe. Attention to detail is lacking and the server did not care. I could go on but will save it. It was my Wife’s Birthday and we didn’t even have dessert. We have been in the industry our whole lives. I’ve heard this is the best restaurant in Coeur d’Alene. Usually I just don’t go back tell my 10 friends etc. but I had to write this it was that bad. For the supposed best restaurant in town it should be better

   Appetizers were incredible! And cocktails are great. We decided to just have that! But the food is always great! Craig was kind, and accommodating and very helpful.

   We had a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We went for our first anniversary and they were so kind to comp our dessert which we really appreciated. Definitely worth going to.

    My family and I recently celebrated my mom's birthday at Tony’s on the Lake, which has been a special place for her, her entire life. Growing up on the lake, she’s made countless memories here, and we always appreciate Tony's for its wonderful service, delicious food, and gluten-free options that cater to her needs. This year, we requested her favorite table by the fireplace, a cozy spot that’s perfect in the colder months. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told the fireplace wasn’t working and couldn’t be lit due to an issue. The area felt quite chilly without it, but we were assured it wasn’t possible. So, we settled in and still enjoyed an excellent meal, including her favorite pulled mozzarella appetizer and an espresso martini. The staff was attentive, and we had a great time together. The next day, however, I was surprised to see a Facebook post from Tony’s showing the fireplace on with a caption about enjoying a cozy Sunday. This left us feeling a bit misled about one of my mom's favorite parts of dining at Tony’s. While I understand things can go wrong, it would have been nice to know we’d miss out on something that meant a lot to her. Overall, Tony’s remains a beautiful place with top-notch food, drinks, and service, and we will certainly be back. I just hope in the future there’s clearer communication about these details to ensure guests feel fully accommodated.
