Toorak Cellars is equal parts bottle shop and wine bar, located just opposite Toorak station on Beatty Avenue in Armadale. Our aim is simple: to source, acquire and serve the best wines we can find at any given price point, from Australia and around the world.

We believe strongly in the idea that wine should taste like fruit and minerals instead of oak and alcohol. The wines we serve should reflect with great clarity the soil from which they were grown, and the four seasons that passed through that vineyard during a specific vintage.

We serve a constantly changing twenty wines by-the-glass, or you can open any bottle straight off the shelf. We don't have a kitchen, but if you're hungry we do have some creative ways of feeding you.

All aboard the 72 tram for a tour of Italy’s stunning wine regions. Part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival 2025, DITC is hosting their famous hop on, hop off tram tasting taking in The Alps, Toorak Cellars and Milton. The tour will be hosted by a guest conductor, and each stop will be a wine tasting from a different region of Italy with snacks to match. Saluti to the day with a glass of Lambrusco at The Alps, taste the central Italian regions at Toorak Cellars and finish in the South at Milton for a pizza and vino. A fun, interactive day out.

The BBQ series with Emmanuelle on Sunday was an absolute mess. The service and the attention was dismal. Not only were we never handed a menu (we had to stand up and ask for ourselves) but the wait staff took around 20 minutes to even give us water. It wasnt until 45 minutes after we ordered, that we were even told that the food would take 30 minutes or more due to the rain earlier in the day. They didnt even tell us this when we ordered, we had to ask why we still had no food, to barely be told this fact. While we are understanding that the rain could affect an outdoor BBQ, I do not see how corn chips and dip, tuna crudo and tostadas (which they never even served us the tostadas) are affected by rain? These plates weren't served to us until about an hour and 45 minutes AFTER we ordered. On top of that, after being there for 2.5hrs, we left out of frustration and we never even got the shaved ice and pannacotta, again how does rain affect this? Also by that point many tables had left frustrated and the venue was clearly not bust. Very dissapointed, we will not be coming back for this experience and will definitely not recommend it to anyone we know.

We were very disappointed with our lunch experience. Lots of staff but everyone seemed to lack guidance and flustered around the shop.

Lovely weather so an outside table was ideal. Inside was also a bit noisy for us on a Friday night but what would you expect.
