   The food and service were great as usual. However, the ac was not working and it happened on an unusually warm February day. They were working on it while we were there and there was a little bit of improvement. Our party still enjoyed themselves regardless.

   The food was delicious. Unfortunately some things ran out wven though we were there at lunch time. View is wonderful and servers were all nice but frequency of checkins was lacking. Also it was very hot the on our visit and we were told it was not normal but due to a maintenance issue.

   This is the finest Sunday brunch we've found in Columbia -- and we've tried many of them. Fine food, fastidious service, and fascinating views. Thank you to everyone at Top of Carolina for another delightful experience.

   Servers were very pleasant and welcoming. The food offerings were wide ranging and delicious. Temperature in the restaurant needs better control. Between the sun on the windows and the heat from the station burners, the temperature in the restaurant was on the suffocating side of warm. Add the movement of the room to that over-warm environment and it does not make for a great ambience. We would have enjoyed it MUCH more and stayed longer than 30 minutes had the temperature in the room been more reasonable.

   This was NOT our first time at the restaurant but it was the first time I made reservations for the restaurant on round table app. I don’t know why but I made the reservation for 2 people even though I invited the rest of our party through the app. The person more than likely a manager was very upset I made the reservation with the wrong number of people even though I showed her my phone. We wait 5 minutes or so, my son Maddoxx asked all the cute girls that walked near him what their birthdays were. Maddoxx has autism and his huge thing is birthdays. I think 2-3 girls loved talking to them. So while the lady (older than college students) was upset i made a mistake on the people in my party, the rest of the people there were so awesome. It’s 2/9/25 and it was 80 degrees, and I started sweating early. It was so hot that my daughter got a migraine and had to leave early. The waiter and waitress we had were awesome. Even though it was $175 for 5 and we barely ate anything because the fried chicken was tasteless, the lobster mac and cheese was fishy, the coleslaw and pasta salad was horrible, the brisket slider was awesome, the omelette station remains my fave because the man who runs it is awesome!!! The man running that prime rib station was super sweet to my mom. Try it once definitely

   Top of Carolina never fails to provide a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere is unique and is unmatched by any other restaurant in Columbia. The food is excellent and is equally as good as the view. The variety of food was amazing and everything we ate, in our party of four, was delicious. We were able to be adventurous and enjoy many new dishes that we would not normally order from a menu. All of the wait staff were professional and friendly while maintaining a quality dining service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    I took my daughter there for her birthday along with my two granddaughters. The view was spectacular, and the food was outstanding… they were quite impressed. My only complaint is that the pastry area with so many wonderful varieties to choose from needed to have an option to warm your scones, muffins, bagel, etc. That would be the icing on the cake for me😊. Will definitely be returning.
