    The dishes, the variety and the qualityof the food are unsurpassable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is so delicious that you do not know what to choose. the view too can't be beat.

    We had a wonderful time celebrating a special day with brunch here. The food and service were exceptional. And, the ambiance was amazing. The views of Columbia made our experience so unique. We loved it and will definitely return. We wish this place was open more often and at night too!

    My husband and I loved everything, so much that we booked our next reservation while we were there. Truly amazing experience and excellent hospitality.

    I have been here several times and never had a bad experience like this, went on November 24, 2024. The food bar usually has several different varieties of meat. Im not a pork or redmeat person and there was only a choice of ham, no chicken only chicken enchiladas. Vegetable was only broccoli that was very bland. I dont mind paying the price but this time with the choices $80 was a bit too much for only being able to eat an omelette, salad and pastries. Our waitress was wonderful she kept checking on us. Management and a few other workers sat in the front where you come in conversating the whole time we were there which I thought was odd. Before we were leaving workers were fixing plates of food for themselves and eating, you would think they would wait till all customers were gone then eat. Needless to say it will be a while before I go back again after this experience.

    From reception to leaving, everyone was congenial and helpful. Our server, Paige, deserves special mention; but, truly, all the staff are personable, professional, and proficient. We also appreciate the variety of buffet offerings. You can certainly enjoy all the traditional brunch menu items but there is also a carvery as well as deliciously prepared fresh vegetables. There also often seems to be a "theme" table which varies week to week. This time it was Mexican, which included excellent chicken chimichanga with Spanish rice. And did I mention the outstanding Cole slaw? The view is, of course, unparalleled in Columbia, all of which makes for a delightful Sunday treat. We highly recommend Top of Carolina.

    We love this place. The food, the view, and the fact that you can have brunch or lunch or both! The service was a little neglectful on this recent visit. We had to search for a server for ice-tea refills. This hasn't happened before to such an extent, so perhaps it was just a bad day. Otherwise, hands-down, the best brunch we've found in Columbia.
