We arrived 15 minutes early on a Saturday evening for a 7:45 reservation. An 8pm reservation checked in right before we did. The restaurant was a mad house. People standing everywhere, the wait staff had difficulty just moving through the crowd. The hosts (2 of them) kept leaving the host stand to either seat people or coordinate with servers which left a line of patrons at the door. Luckily we grabbed two seats at the bar since there was going to be a wait. The bar seats were torn to shreds and the cushions were so beat that all you could feel was the wood frame of the seat digging into your legs. Two shots at the bar cost $40 we were finally messaged for our table at 8:15. I also noticed the 8pm reservation was sat before us. I wish the delayed service stopped with the hosts. Our waitress was pleasant, but the restaurant was clearly behind. The servers were attentive for the most part, but took a while to clear empty dishes from the tables. We ordered appetizers as soon as we sat down; those came out relatively quickly. We had the oysters and arancini. The arancini was a little over cooked for my liking but there was good flavor throughout the dish. The sauce might’ve needed a pinch of salt. We ordered two medium rare steak dishes with a side of gnocchi and brussels sprouts. The kitchen was so behind it took 50 minutes to receive our dinner. The steaks and sides were brought to the table around 9:40. I also ordered a Cesar salad that was supposed to be brought to the table before dinner and never received it. The main dishes were ok. The steaks were cooked to the right temperature but my steak was charred on the outside so every bite was tainted with the taste of charcoal. Since it took so long to receive the food we weren’t really hungry any more. The gnocchi was underwhelming, wouldn’t recommend. The Brussels sprouts were delicious though. The restaurant was extremely loud throughout the evening. TLDR: The food was ok, wouldn’t recommend. Over priced.

Excellent service and meals. Rowan was our waiter and he was very attentive. We sat in “The Vault Room” and it was a great experience (more of a private area)

The food was good. The service was very good. The small tables are a little close together and make it a little hard to hear the person you’re with but the lighting is very romantic.

The vibe and ambiance in this place is second to none in the city. The drinks and apps were great. Especially the Caesar salad. One of the best ever. The rib eye was great (although overcooked for medium rare) but the Prime Dry Aged Strip was a let down. Gristle throughout the middle and overcooked as well. More like a 35$ steak IMHO. Because the other things that make a good restaurant are there, we will try it again but will send the next poor steak back for sure!
