They say a small kitchen makes the house big. Here at trattoria Abruzzo we take pride in our small kitchen and our big heart, where everything is made from scratch and with love.

Owner Paola Laccetti left Italy and moved to Naples FL in July 2012. She had a vision, which turned into Trattoria Abruzzo. Just as her grandmother and mother had taught her, food is an art, and tastes better if made heartfelt.

All our pastas are made by hand daily and all our sauces are patiently slow cooked for hours each morning. Every dish is made by the order and often adjusted for our customers preference. All our ingredients are chosen based on freshness and quality.

The homemade pasta did not taste like homemade it was mushy. The Bolognese sauce was very acidic. The Caesar salad was excellent. The calamari was excellent. The service was very good., However, could not, could not believe that only three pads of butter were brought out for four people. Overall, we all were a little disappointed.

the red sauce is amazing! it tastes fresh and vibrant. the meatball appitzer was good. the breaded chicken parm was tough and tasteless. the manicotti shell was straight out of the box and cooked to aldente i don’t recommend it. the lasagna was good. Antonio our server was great. overall i can’t recommend it The bill for 5 people was $178 So pricey, spotty on the quality of the food.

Our server was amazing she made sure everything was tasting good. The food was absolutely mind blowingly delicious ❤️

Service was good! Food came out on time. Could definitely step up their menu a bit, especially with such high price points. Calamari was rubbery. Overall food quality can definitely improve. Have had much better Italian with lower price points.

We went for Valentine’s day dinner and had the homemade meatballs, caesar salad, Ravioli Della Mamma and Pollo a la Elena. Each one was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend and will go back!

The restaurant was extremely busy and service was poor. We immediately ordered drinks and our appetizer which took about 35 minutes to get. Appetizer was delicious. We ordered dinner and that took about another 35 to 40 minutes. Everyone with the exception of me enjoyed their meal. I had to send my chicken Parm back. It was so grizzly and tough. It was inedible. I’ve eaten at this restaurant many times and it’s always been one of my favorites, but I really feel the quality of the food is declining

There were four of us and we each loved our meal. It’s authentic Italian food. Delicious.
