   Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The waitress displayed unprofessional behavior, misleading us in our wine selection. Despite our numerous questions about the wine, she failed to suggest consulting their wine specialist, which would have been helpful. The food also fell short of expectations. The portions were extremely small, and the flavors did not meet the standard we anticipated. We had to order two additional dishes just to feel satisfied, which added to our dissatisfaction. Overall, the establishment did not live up to the hype and advertising. Unfortunately, this seems to align with the reputation some hotel restaurants.

   Completely empty on a Saturday night should have been a clue, but our first few choices were full, so we ended up at Trattoria. All dishes were either under- or over-salted, service was fine (but should have been faster more attentive given its emptiness), and the value was poor (3 people for $175 and only one of us even had a drink).

   For a hotel restaurant this was a very nice pleasant experience. Service was perfect. Food timing was excellent. Halibut was perfectly cooked. The squid ink pasta was a wonderful presentation with a good selection of seafood. End with pancetta and satsuma sorbet which was like a dreamcicke

   I brought a group of 6 here for a quiet business dinner. It was a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was mostly empty, but even if it had been more crowded the noise levels would have been very reasonable due to the layout of the tables. I enjoyed a delicious cocktail and the food was lovely, nothing particularly outstanding but all very good. Some in my group had pasta and others had fish, and everyone seemed happy with their meals.

   i was a little nervous when i learned the restaurant had changed ownership—but have to say, while josephine estrelle was always solid, the food last nite was even BETTER! kudos to the new chef (from costera i heard?). the gemelli pasta & cacio pepe were outstanding. same for caesar and squash salads. will definitely return.
