ON JANUARY 25TH 2008 The Napolitano family (Ciro, Pina y Vicenzo) arrived from the Montecatini in the Tuscany region. They opened the door of Trattoria Toscana Mia, offering what they know best: Italian home made food, Fresh pasta, pizza and good Italian wine. All recipes are original from Mamma Pina who has worked all her life on many different Italian kitchens.

The food and service are good. But I think this place is overrated. Because of the demand, tables are small and your elbows almost could touch that of the next table’s guest. Ambience is so ordinary and space crammed. Overall dining experience is very ordinary, sorry to say.

This is our absolute favorite restaurant in Bucerias. Every year, we visit it several times while on vacation in Nuevo. The food, especially the pasta, is delicious. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is intimate yet lively. Try it. You won't be disappointed unless you come without a reservation!

Very much enjoyed our supper there last night! Homemade ravioli are a must! Great wine selection and if you pick an earlier dining time it’s a bit quieter than trying to go later in the evening.
