Do not get the breaded veal chop. Awful. I had a better wienerschnitzel from a food truck. Some of the food including the veal over salted. The pasta good, but not better than Gibson Italia. Service was just so.

We had bar seating which I don't think is the best way to experience Tre Dita. Tristan was our server and as you would expect from Lettuce Entertainment the service was great. The challenge for me is that bar seating isn't really suited for dining. It's more lounge chairs and deep benches with heights that made eating just a bit off. Tables also have a very highly polished surface. Cutting food while a plate sits on them results in your plate sliding around the table. Not fun when paying $89 for a steak. Overall, the food was good. Squash blossoms were nicely fried with a nice crunch and the contrast with ricotta was good. Cacio e Pepe was excellent. Noodles were huge, but somehow still light. Steak was well-cooked. Atmosphere was very lively and upbeat, but we were still able to hold a conversation without having to raise our voices. I would go back to eat in the dining room where I think the whole experience would be better. I don't think eating in the bar "just to get in" is worth it.

We had been wanting to try Tre Dita forever and finally got the chance for my husband's birthday. The views and food were both fantastic, and our waitress was phenomenal. However, I didn't like how close we were to other people, which made it feel less intimate. Overall, it was a good experience, but the seating arrangement could be improved for more privacy for couples.

Dining at Tre Dita was an exceptional experience from the time we were greeted at the hostess stand to the time we left. The timing of the service of each course was perfect! We never felt rushed and we did take our time enjoying each and every bite! All staff were great. Our server Nina was exceptional! Great knowledge of the dishes as well as the wines that complimented them. She was so genuine, nice and fun which added so much to our experience! We had the squash blossoms, blue prawns, insulate di cicoria (which was plentiful- we shared it) wild boar papperdelle pasta dish, and spaghetti ala vongole! Had a great bottle of vermentino that was featured this week. Finished with tiramisu, espresso martini and limoncello! Buonissima! Almost forgot to mention the view! Gorgeous!

Food, drinks & service excellent. Staff (host/bar/table) is great. I dine all over Chicagoland in all types of venues (diners/dives/and, many high-end restaurants). I rarely take note of the cost of a meal because..."if you can't afford it don't go there." Tre Dita's price made me take note: it was some of the highest cost food/drink I've ever seen. Was it great? YES. But the bill made me look twice. If you go, be ready for a fabulous evening, followed by sticker shock.

Apart from a 20minute wait to be seated, everything was very good. They offered us a taste of vermouth drink at the beginning which was a pleasant surprise that I wish more restaurants did because I personally like to try things and it made me order more of it. they cleared the plates after every appetizer which I consider to be elegant service. The arctic char was very flavorful, highly recommend it. Will be coming back!

Amazing food, the service in the end was very good but I feel like they rushed us in the beginning in selecting our food. And At the price point of the restaurant they should have offered us a sommelier from the beginning when they saw we had an interest in wine. I asked for the sommelier but he never came and then I had ti ask again so there was a delay in getting our wine paired with the appetizers. I feel like the staff is very young and need more communication and coordination for the type of restaurant. But I was So happy with the food it made up for everything.
