The dining experience at Tre Scalini was wonderful. Although I was expecting more of a romantic vibe, my wife and I still very much enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff was very welcoming. All of the food was made to order, so we waited a little while but it was definitely worth the wait. 10/10

Only thing that marred the experience was the table at which our party of 5 was seated. It was immediately up against a large pole which separated two of our group. Quality of the food and service was excellent. Very extensive wine list with a particularly extensive array of Italian wines. Among the only disappointments in the food was an extremely small serving of the coconut shrimp appetizer (3 pieces for a party of 5 - we should have been warned); fortunately portions for all other dishes (appetizers, entrees and desserts) were generous. All 5 of us took food home from the entrees. Would unhesitatingly return. Certainly successfully competes with New Haven’s other fine-dining Italian restaurants.

I had an incredible Thanksgiving experience at Tre Scalini! From the moment we walked in, the elegant decor set the perfect atmosphere for a special holiday meal. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly cared for throughout the evening. The food was absolutely unbelievable—authentic flavors with stunning presentation. Every bite was a delight! I especially have to mention the eggplant parmigiana; even my mother-in-law, who is notoriously picky, raved about it. It’s rare to find a place that checks all the boxes, but Tre Scalini exceeded all expectations. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving unforgettable. We will definitely be back!
