   What a disappointment. On previous visits food has been extremely good so we thought we’d try a Sunday lunch. Meat was delicious and plentiful , my beef and my husband’s chicken but my Yorkshire was inedible and meal was lukewarm. Potatoes were soft so had probably been reheated. Told the waiter about the Yorkshire and temperature of food and he apologised but did nothing. Desserts on menu at table were unavailable.

   The food was delicious and nicely presented certainly value for money. Our drinks were very long in arriving and not given politely, simply placed on the table and the waitress gone. Not a problem but a smile and a word would have been appreciated. I was not very warm, but perhaps I should have worn thicker clothing. I would recommend as the food was excellent.

   I booked a New Year’s Eve lunch for 6 people @ 2pm. When we arrived a member of staff informed me “we are not open today “ which meant it was too late to get a Sunday lunch anywhere else. This ruined our New Year’s Eve. We are local and have used the restaurant on many occasions. Very bad service.

   Staff excellent and knowledgable about venue, food great value although chicken a little tough, sweet delicious, better than expected for £5.00 on our 1st test experiance. Will definitely be revisiting soon.

   Always a favourite for us - food was good but it was surprisingly quiet with just us eating. Lovely place, friendly staff & good food

   Always excellent value. Only two members of staff at front of house who did a first rate job and were superb. However, felt sorry for them as a lot to do

   We were a little disappointed with the small menu compared with the last visit we had here. The food was well prepared and tasty, served quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful.

   Arrived on Sunday morning for tour to find my wife and I were the only ones. So we had a private tour of the distillery. Absolutely fascinating tour with both information on English Spirit and the distilling of rum gin and other spirits. The tour was concluded by sampling of the finished products😜 We had a delicious light meal in the cafe afterwards served by Dr John Walters himself!! Of course no tour could be complete without purchasing various products from the shop. So much choice😄 Would encourage anyone who has an interest in distilling to visit Treguddick which is in a beautiful rural setting. Cheers!!!!
