This is a great little treasure hidden away in the Intercontinental Hotel! The oysters were excellent and the “Taste of Trenasse” is not to be missed! Goes great with the Fried Green Tomatoes, which, on a bed of etouffe, is a great twist! This one is a gem!

This is a hidden gem in the Hotel Intercontinental! My salad was fresh & delicious with a variety of lettuces, tomatoes, corn, peas & radishes. I added grilled shrimp that were fresh, large & not overcooked. Service was outstanding too!

My standard for reviewing a restaurant is answering the question, “would I eat here again?” And the answer is yes. We were surprised with homemade pick skins, sounds gross, but was really good. Served with red bean butter. The barbecue shrimp, which in New Orleans is not really a barbecue sauce, with the grilled bread and a side order of the French bread was outstanding. I had the CBD salad with fried oysters. The oysters were crispy and hot and they were not stingy with the oysters. The salad was fresh and cold, and the dressings were homemade and delicious. My husband had blackened fish of the day which was red fish. It was wonderful served over arugula and smashed fingerling potatoes. The crème brûlée with fresh fruit was excellent. I would give the whole experience five stars except that the ambience suffers a tad because of being part of the the hotel bar. but again, I would definitely eat there again.

The barbecue shrimp was delicious!! We enjoyed our food and our beverages. Had a great waiter Manny!! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely stop in again..

The food and service were excellent. The fact it’s basically a large hotel lobby bar area was a little bit of a turn off, but the quality of the food and service was great!

Food was delicious especially the crawfish pie and grilled red fish. Service was slow as we needed to flag down assistance multiple times. Perhaps residual effect from historic storms… Prices seemed fair yet know a surcharge is added for using a credit card.
