Our experience here was truly exceptional in every way. The food was delicious and the service was personal and extremely attentive to every detail. The chef/ owner went out of his way to come to our table to explain and share a special bourbon to one in our group who was a true connoisseur of bourbons. The hostess and our waitress had the bartender prepare a perfect drink for another in our group who requested it be made with special ingredients. We were all thrilled with our evening there and will definitely return.

Our meals were exceptional but the service we received from our waitress was the real thing that made our experience at Trenta so awesome. 5 stars!!! We loved hearing a bit about her journey to Wolfboro and wish her luck on her engagement/upcoming marriage. Looking forward to making Trenta one our regular places to dine!

We've been here several times and will continue to return for their most excellent food and service. Everything is always perfect. We had Leah for a waitress this time around...perfect as well.

A real fine dining experience. My wife and a guest and I dined at Trenta last night. Wonderful to see a restaurant so in the details. Thoughtful menu, we started with the autumn kale salad, which was a perfect beginning. Fresh ingredients, and not drowning in dressing as is so often the case out there these days. Also, the meatballs of the appetizer menu. They were really fun. All three of our main courses were interesting, thoughtfully, prepared and tasteful. And I want to shout out the wine list. Plenty of great selections. Our server struck the right balance between being attentive without being intrusive. Background music was at the right level for conversation, and the ambience is perfect. We will be back soon and often.

Last night's dinner at Trenta was excellent. It was only two of us so we sat in the bar/lounge area for the first time. Both of our meals and cocktails were great. Very cozy, rustic warm restaurant. As with the first time, all of the staff was very happy, pleasant and felt like we were family. See you again!

the great Chuck Farrell was PERFECT.
They are extremely talented! We loved it.
The service was magnificent.
The exotic beers are intriguing.

We booked a 7:15 reservation for New Year’s Eve 3 course dinner. We got there a little early but were seated right away & we ordered drinks while we waited for the last of our group to arrive….
Our server was kind and apologetic and kept the drinks flowing. we were understanding and of course still tipped well, but everything took SO LONG. We opted for the $3 bread basket add on to hold us over, which didn’t come out until our lukewarm first course- at 8:30 pm. The chestnut soup was a good portion, foie gras was too.
The food was all fine flavor-wise and we enjoyed it as much as we reasonably could despite being cold and a super long wait.
Our entrees didn’t hit the table until 10pm. I had the surf and turf for a $20 up charge (menu online said $15) which again was cold but tasted fine. The entrees were all huge, and they looked great! Dessert was fine, the terrarium was chocolatey and basically a refined dirt cake from childhood (no complaints I love that stuff), and the guys seemed to enjoy the fried cheesecake.
We paid and left around 11:30 pm after all was said and done. While the food was decent, the timing was abysmal for our meals to still be cold when we finally recieved them. In short, I may return to try again, but not for a holiday or special occasion.

Food was good, our service people could not have been working faster, but it was New Year’s Eve and the kitchen and service staff were overwhelmed. The food came out warm, not hot, but I need to stress It was delicious. And our waiter could not have been nicer, But the service was slow as the place was packed. I will definitely go back again, but at a less busy time.

Hidden gem!! Our first choice from now on. Every dish was sublime. Very attentive wait staff. No waiting on a Saturday evening. White Linens!
And they use sustainable boxes and bags for taking home the leftovers. We only had appetizers. Each was a meal! Steak cooked perfectly. Great ambience. Specials and extensive beer and wine choices. This is not just an event venue. Absolutely lovely. Plenty of gluten free offerings.
