   I almost cried lol. It was probably the best meal I’ve had in Halifax. Will definitely make a point to go back.

   My wife and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary at Tribute and had a truly wonderful evening. We ate at the Counter near their incredible wood-fired oven. The food was some of the best we’ve had - in Halifax or anywhere. Innovative without being pretentious, our food was absolutely delicious. It was fresh, loaded with local ingredients, and a fusion of expertly crafted textures and flavors. Top-shelf. Our server was super friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. She helped us pair the perfect wine 🍷 with our meal. The decor was beautifully done and we loved the energy of the place. The only thing that was a bit of an issue was the acoustics. It was somewhat distracting at points but certainly didn’t negatively impact our enjoyment of our meal. Love that we have this option. We will definitely be back.

   Overall, the food was amazingly tasty - my most "delicious" restaurent in HRM. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked and the service was on point! Vibe: noticed that they were all upper class due to wear, but a tab too loud and noisy. The tables are very close to each other, but there's lots of space between them to make your way. Again, the food's taste was memorable - score 10/10.

    We had the tasting menu at Tribute Restaurant, with a few add-ons to share — and it was unreal. Every dish was perfectly balanced and full of creativity. The steak and pasta were absolute standouts — some of the best we’ve had anywhere. The wine pairing was a must — expertly paired and elevated each course. As foodies who love to travel and experience fine dining around, Tribute ranks highly amongst our top recent meals. Without a doubt, the best new restaurant in Halifax.
