   Absolute top marks for our meals, we ordered 5 Roast Dinners, 1 Fish & Chips and 3 Childrens meals, all cooked brilliantly, nice seasoning in the veg and not el dente as so mant often are. Pudding menu again a really good selection to choose from, you would struggle to not find something to eat across the whole menu. Bar is kept exceptionally clean & stocked well, really good service, and a great atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome too, so it will be used by our family again,

   Overall experience was very good, the only thing that let the evening down was the waiting staff lady’s. The two that dealt with our table just looked like they didn’t want to be there. Since the new owners have taken over the food quality has vastly improved, didn’t have to wait long periods between courses. Portion sizes are very good for the reasonable prices. Maybe we just picked the wrong night for the serving staff(at least the two that served our party of 8. Will definitely go again though and recommend Friday nights when there’s always a live band on from 9pm.

   We spent £211 on food the bar shut at 9 30 which we found not acceptable as we were staying there as residents and was told it didn't make a difference

    We eat at Trickies most weeks. Fabulous food and reasonable prices. Staff well organised and always welcoming. Highly recommended.
