   Lovely experience today. The service was very good, attentive and responsive when needed. They gave us a warm welcome, especially for our toddler. The waitress and the owner were both lovely. It was quiet with only a few tables but it still had a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious. The prawn linguine was excellent.

   Overall a thoroughly enjoyable meal out as a couple to celebrate Valentine’s Day. One or two menu items unavailable and one item of food had an issue but the staff resolved this immediately and satisfactorily. Service was great and we would visit again

   Food rubbish, chicken skewers were thigh meat, very fatty and chewy. Kofta kebabs looked like little burgers and 3 onion rings in a portion. Manger very outspoken at the bar but didn’t have a lot to say when confronted at the table.

   Our second trip to Trio and once again the whole experience was amazing, lovely staff and food to die for. 100% recommend

   The staff were, friendly and nice and everything you would expect from a restaurant. The cocktails were lovely and arrived quickly after ordering. Unfortunately, the food didn't match up. We had the arincini balls, chicken wings for starter and the chicken kebabs for main. They used the a cheaper brown meat for the kebabs, and there was not much flavouring on the meat. It was served with a handful of slightly undercooked chunky chips. It's didn't help that after the dinner I developed a searing stomach pain and was violently sick. Me

   Ordered from the main menu. Chicken burger and beef burger were fine but nothing special. Daughter's chicken schnitzel arrived and was raw in the middle, completely. I don't know how a chef can't cook chicken breast? Where was the probe? Food was removed and taken off our bill but the apology was insincere which makes me think it's happened before. We were still charged £5 service charge despite the uncooked chicken fiasco. Unbelievable! York is full of amazing places. We'd wanted to try here for a long time but will NOT return.

   Changed times for me which was great. Not asked about allergies. Food was very spicy and not light spicy. Told waitress as couldn’t eat it. Said sorry and that was it. 2nd visit but not sure will do a third.

    Absolute Gem of a Restaurant. Great food and Fantastic Service. Authentic Turkish Flavours in a great setting.
