True Kitchen provided a unique dining experience for me. In search of something new in the Raleigh area, I discovered a gem. I enjoyed lunch, and both the service and the meal were exceptional. I highly recommend trying the Air Fried Chicken Tenders with Hot Honey sauce and the Kale Salad. Additionally, I suggest requesting professional server Alex for an excellent experience.

This is my second visit in one week. The food is outstanding! So fresh, with some unexpected and delicious pairings of vegetables and sauces, etc. I love the menu variety; everyone can find something they love, whether a vegan, gluten free, or heavy on the red meat eater. Service has been wonderful both times. Definitely a new fave!

The service was excellent. Modern, clean, sleek decor. While the food was prepared as ordered, it could have been served at a warmer temperature. For example, the side of Mac & cheese was lukewarm, not hot. The TFK chicken sandwich consisted of an uninspiring two chicken tenders served on a bun.

Healthy organic and tasty food prepared well, with just enough portions to fill the tummy when you’re hungry, without overdoing it. Among other things, the butternut squash soup is excellent! The food is kind of pricey, but the quality is worth it! I brought a friend to dine with me and he agrees with all of the above. This was my second visit to True Food Kitchen, and I will be back with more friends!

Went here for lunch and ordered the lettuce wraps, chicken sandwich and burger. Beverages were hot tea and a ginger lemon juice. The bill including tip was $90. The chicken sandwich is actually two small chicken tenders on a bun, the burger was grass fed but completely overdone despite asking for a medium cook. I received my side of Mac and cheese without cheese at all literally dry noodles with breadcrumbs on top. After that I decided to stay away from pasta and ordered the glazed carrots as a replacement. They arrived 20 minutes later. Our server was an absolute joy and the place looks great, but the food is a complete ripoff for the portion, taste, and price I will not return. Do yourself a favor and go to Yardhouse instead, order healthy there.

We recently visited True and unfortunately, our experience was marred by extremely slow service. While we were seated promptly at our reservation time, we waited over an hour and a half for our entrees with no communication from our server, Chantelle. In fact, she only came to our table a maximum of three times during the two hours we were there. We were even advised to try True again on a "normal night" instead of a busy Friday, which seemed like an odd suggestion considering we had made a reservation and expected timely service. While the food itself was delicious, the lack of attention and long wait made the experience frustrating. We saw several tables around us finish their meals and leave while we were still waiting, which only added to our disappointment. Unfortunately, nothing was done to rectify the situation—no offers to check on our food or make us feel valued. We ended up having our food packed to go and ate it at home, which was a real letdown. We hope that True can improve in the future, particularly in the area of service, because the food truly has potential. For now, we’ll likely consider take-out or try again with a different server to avoid the frustration we experienced this time.

The restaurant decor and ambience was lively and fun. The service was very slow. We had 7 people (appetizers and dinner) and each person deemed their meal "fair". It is overpriced for the quality and presentation of the food. We also had to send our bill back twice to be corrected. Very disappointed in this new addition to North Hills. There are lots of options in walking distance with better food and value.
