Had a wonderful time celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. He got a card all signed by the staff, received a beautiful baked Alaska dessert, and the pianist loved his request and came over talking to us. Only reason we deducted from food is I ordered steak frites but they came out medium well vs. medium. Manager said that was their medium and I needed medium rare (I don’t agree)…but they redid the steak and it was delicious.

We have been fortunate to have hosted many special occasion dinners in the western and southwestern Chicago suburbs at many if not most of the “usual” nicer restaurants, including Morton’s, Gibsons, Capitol Grill, Sullivan’s, Seasons, Hugo Frog Bar, etc. And they have all been good and in some cases exceptional. Somehow we had not discovered Trulucks. Until last night when we went there for our daughter’s birthday. Wow. We were extremely impressed and have a new favorite spot. All the food was exceptional - sea bass, lobster thermidor, scallops, salmon, lobster bisque, and seafood platter. And our server, Francine, was really outstanding. Present, thoughtful, and knowledgeable, without any aspect of pretension or overbearing. Really well done overall and we all look forward to returning soon.

I brought my friend here for the first time and the service and the food was excellent. The music in the background was great whether it was live or from the speakers I definitely will be coming back.

Rudy our server was great! Knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. Our food runners were prompt and polite and there was always service with a smile by every body. Thank you!

Thanks and we thought the restaurant was fantastic. The food was out of this world and the Wagu steak was amazing. There was a bit of noise in the restaurant with kids running around but we were so happy that your restaurant guy took care of them. They immediately settled down and when you are paying over $100 for a meal, that means a lot. We would definitely come back and feel this is a luxury restaurant we will come back to and try more dishes. Thanks and hope you have a lovely holiday! We loved the Trimbaugh? Pinot Gris. Would like to see more white wines to try which are elevated Pinot gris or others. Thanks and be safe!

Dinner was marvelous. Stone crab claws just delicious. Meal was spot on. Wait staff was a little hovering but nothing too distracting from meal.
