Even though I would recommend Tryst, I don't love it. At times I've had great service, drinks and food. But there have been times when service and drinks have been horrible. I love being able to sit outside, but often the DJ has the music too loud, making it impossible to have a conversation. It would also be great if establishments prohibited smoking on their patios. Even though the health risks to second hand smoke are well known, Florida does very little to protect the health of those who do not smoking, especially children.

Service was top notch. We were limited on time since we had a special event to attend after eating. The food came out quickly, great flavor, and good portion size. We will be back.

Everything else was good with our visit, however I ordered a burger well done and I know that’s what the waitress wrote down, but it came very rare. I couldn’t eat it. My husband and I were having dinner with someone for the first time so I didn’t want to send it back. Huge disappointment as I left as hungry as I came. The staff was great.

Talk about a perfect Easter Sunday brunch spot! We enjoyed every sip, taste and people-watching-glance! We can't wait for our next Tryst in St Pete!

We had theatre tickets at 7. The kale and cauliflower salad and the grilled snapper w romescp sauce were great to split. Good house Pinot Noir too. Thank you.

Met a friend for dinner. sat outside. was a lovely night. the menu has changed, was great. the only thing is we always go there for the chicken wings and they took them off the menu. will definitely go again.

Our server was great and my son’s short rib sliders were very good. The cocktails were spot on. I ordered the gnocchi with steak. The gnocchi and sauce were good but the “steak” was actually a crumbled up hamburger. If you don’t have steak, say so. But don’t call it steak and bring out a hamburger.

Overall a very pleasant experience. The sweet potato hummus was delicious but they don't give you enough pita chips to go with it; the chips should be doubled. The clam fries are very average and were a bit leathery! Our entrees were great except for my daughter's Cuban sandwich which had a strange sweet flavor (and it wasn't the pickle in it). We sat outside as it was a beautiful evening and that was lovely. The service was great. We would go again and just stay away from certain items. They really should fix the clam fries or change it to a more standard "fried calamari"!
