   Little bit of a wait due to Valentine’s Day. Waiter was excellent steak was cooked perfectly spinach was delicious and a great deal on v day dinner. Manager apologized for the wait as they were overbooked still a 5 star experience!

   Appetizers came with main course. Food was cool….not piping hot. Food was average at best. We did really like the Brussels sprouts. Asked for boxes for food and got 1. Bill was wrong as well.

   So unfortunate. The pictures looked amazing. Sadly food was poorly cooked. My wife got raw carrots back to back. Meatloaf was covered in a cheap sauce, really cheap condiments and seasonings overall. $100 after $20 tip. Our waitress was phenomenal and was very attentive. This little valentine date could’ve been great but the food was terrible.

   My experience with Tupelo in Raleigh today was not good. First they tried to cheat me out of a portion size, while the MANAGER wanted to tell me that a serving dish wasn’t theirs. Then when I showed him the next picture and he saw their plates, he wanted to retract and say oh that is us. What MANAGER with good customer service training is going to debate with a customer whether they ate at an establishment. Not a good one. Then the waffle and chicken was not hot or fresh. So as nice as the young lady was that waited on us on 2/7 and as fresh as the food was and the portion size was accurate, we won’t be going back. I will not tolerate bad food, service and a controversial sarcastic manager. Too many good restaurants with quality service in the Raleigh area to be treated as I’m an “oh well” customer. DO BETTER TUPELO HONEY - RALEIGH LOCATION!

    Waited over 30 minutes for a table despite having a reservation. No one bussing tables on staff that day so manager was having to bus all tables which delayed people being seated. Reservation was at 1 pm and at 1:20 they were still waiting to seat a 12:30 and 12:45 reservation because of the backup. Food was great but service is lacking today.
