Equally adept at fueling Lido Village-bound shoppers is Tupelo Junction Cafe...the restaurant is true to the funky, Cannery Village side of the town's personality: Cocktails come in mason jars, the coffee mugs are country-style crockery, and the walls display fruit-crate labels as artwork. Everything is made from scratch daily serving Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
"The menu is packed with southern-influenced dishes like apple cinnamon beignets; a pulled-pork sloppy joe; or Amy's own favorite, a sprightly salad of lettuce, fried chicken, corn-bread croutons, and buttermilk dressing."

    Haley is a great waitress and nice addition to the Tupelo family… that is the feeling you always get when dining at Tupelo Junction Cafe. Owner Amy goes out of her way to make you feel welcome, like part of her family. Food is 5 star. You won’t find fresher fish anywhere in the Newport Beach area. Highly recommend this cozy, neighborhood gem. Carol & Walt

    This out of the way gem has amazing food. The place appears to be an old home, near the water, but has stone floors and dingy paint inside, but their food is as good as anyone in OC.

    We always enjoy ourselves here at Tulilo Junction Cafe. The servers take great care of us. Trust me, we’re a group of fun people who go out to have a good time and enjoy great food, and that’s exactly what we get here! Jess was our server, and she was a delightful human! Keep up the great work, Amy. See you soon! Oh, and the ribs are insane! I’m so glad you brought them back!!

    The restaurant is in a side neighborhood on Balboa peninsula. The space is as any converted house, a bit small. Our waitress tonight was  Heidi. Now this is one smart manager to spot a person with her grace, intelligence, skill at customer service. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and I had the double cut pork chop. Both were well above expectations. The price was a great value for the price. FYI, street parking is what is available for the restaurant. After 6 pm it is free.
