Had a lovely day at Sunday brunch for my friends birthday. The food was amazing, the view were lovely and we really enjoyed the buffet style for all courses. We had a 1pm table booked and it was very quiet when we arrived but got busy by the time we left so I'm glad we went at that time. I have a nut allergy so they had a chef come out and go through every dish that did contain nuts (there wasn't many, so that was good) We travelled 1½ hours to get to Turnberry but was definitely worth the road trip.

Great experience and atmosphere excellent service however i did wait over 20mins for a glass of wine but they kindly gave me it on the house which I appreciated. Food was excellent although the main courses could have been warmer. Overall excellent

Quite disappointed in this visit. Our second time at the Sunday Brunch and the first time was vastly superior in many ways. We ordered a bottle of wine with our meal, 2 glasses were poured and the bottle removed. When we asked for more wine we were again poured another couple of glasses. We asked why the bottle was taken away and the waitress said 'I can't comment on that'. Again the bottle was removed. So we didn't finish the bottle of wine that we had asked for and when our bill arrived we were charged for 4 glasses (more expensive than a bottle). I wanted the roast beef but there wasn't any out when I went up. I was told it would be 5 mins. My husband plated his whole meal and finished eating it before the beef came out the kitchen, approx 20 mins. A lot of the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing and even trying to get out bill at the end of our meal. The waiter said he would get a colleague to deal with us. Not really what you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Another wonderful brunch at the superb Turnberry hotel. Beautiful setting, professional and attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble. There was a good and varied choice for starters, mains and deserts, and it was lovely to see that the mains were back to ‘self service’ again. I and my friends will certainly be back!

Naturally everything about the venue is amazing with the most beautiful surroundings and views on such an amazing day but I was disappointed with the experience overall. The service could have been significantly better, in particular.

We were there for Sunday lunch and the food was lovely All staff were very attentive and nothing was a bother Will certainly be back Thank for a great afternoon

Attended Easter Brunch with hubby! The whole afternoon was exceptional from start to finish! Had a great seat at window looking at fab view. Choices on menu were superb & food was delicious. Staff were very attentive & we both had a great day.
