   Another great experience at Tuscan Kitchen in Salem celebrating the holidays with friends. Great ambience and service in the beautiful Tuscan Village and food was fantastic as usual.

   I was surprised with the level of service last night. Although we were seated within 15 minutes of our reservation, we were forgotten. We were not greeted by a server, and we had to call someone over after 25 minutes just for water. We were told our server was not aware we were seated, and then proceeded to wait another 25 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order. Once a server came over, we were rushed to put in out order and were barely spoken to. By the time our food arrived, we have been at our table for an hour and a half. This was not a result of the busy nature of the restaurant due to the tree lighting. Our reservation was at 8:45p, the other tables in our area were constantly being served, with the exception of our table. People arrived and were seated in our area after us, they were served and left before we finished eating. Not one person apologized, not management, not our server. Our waters were not refilled, we had 10 words spoken to us during the entire 2.5 hours we were at our table. Very disappointed in the service at Tuscan Kitchen.

   Brussels sprouts came under my steak which I specify that I did not want at all. Besides that everything was fine.

   This was my first visit to the new Salem NH restaurant. The noise level is really very loud in this location making it difficult to hear and talk to people at the table. Even though I had reservations, we were seated at a hightop table in the bar area. Although some may like it, I do not like the atmosphere compared to the previous Salem location. The decor and lighting is modern and feels cold. The materials - seating, tables, lighting, wine cabinets all seem cheap. The restaurant was packed and we waited 45 minutes for our mixed drink order to arrive. The bar was overcrowded and they probably need to do something to ensure that people can get reasonable drink service. We ordered Manhattans and they were very good. I ordered Scallops for dinner. It tasted very good but was surprised that the bowl was 80% risotto with just 5 small scallops. My wife ordered Pork Saltimboca and it was really delicious and a beautiful presentation. I'd recommend that dish.

   A fabulous late lunch enjoyed with family! The terrific hostesses, service and food - spectacular! They also easily accomodated a celiac member of our family. Thank you Tuscan Kitchen!

   Celebrating with family and friends at the Tuscan kitchen was really enjoyable. The service was excellent, the food was good, and the ambience was beautiful.

   Well, this was my third time in 3 weeks and each time with different people. Each time everyone was more than happy with the whole experience. I’ll be back soon!
