The Twine Loft restaurant, featured in “Where to Eat in Canada”, is an intimate dining experience set it a restored fishing stage on the water’s edge in historic Trinity, Newfoundland. The kitchen offers patrons a set menu 3-course meal, including appetizer, main course, dessert, and tea or coffee with a nightly choice of a fish or meat dish for the main course. Vegetarian, Vegan, Celiac and other dietary restrictions can be accommodated. The sommelier has designed an extensive wine list with various by the glass options, local beers, and cocktails to be enjoyed during dinner or on the deck during afternoon Happy Hour.

Twine Loft has it all. Great view food hospitality . We went another night because the food and atmosphere were amazing.

Best meal on our trip thru Newfoundland! Cosy quaint setting. Great atmosphere. The lamb shank was awesome. Reserve ahead to not be disappointed.

There are only two choices for a main course, and set dinner times. The salad appetizer was not sufficient in quantity, and wasn't particularly well presented. The pan-fried cod wasn't as good as I had had at a mom and pop restaurant, and it wasn't as fresh. The vegetable with the main course was asparagus (in the fall...) and the amount provided was not sufficient. My husband found his lamb dish to be tasteless. The setting by the water is very nice - but sitting outside in the sun for an hour in the late afternoon with no shade can be very hot. Overall, the food was a great disappointment, especially because we had been recommended to go here by friends. The set menu price of $48 not including tax or tip is very high.

We absolutely loved our experience, the food and service were excellent! Thank you for offereing a vegetarian alternative, I have been craving the pasta ever since. My only concern was that the drinks were a little pricy.

I highly recommend the Twine Loft Restaurant. I have many food sensitivities and they were very accommodating right from when I booked our table up to and including the chef coming to talk to me when we arrived to clarify. Delicious, fresh caught cod. The restaurant has a lovely setting and atmosphere. Thank you!

A wonderful experience , the meal was perfect and the atmosphere was amazing ! Very well put together ... we had the Cod and it was the best we both have ever had. Can't wait to go back.

An absolutely lovely spot overlooking Trinity Harbour. Be sure to get there ahead of your seating time to enjoy happy hour on the deck. Service was top quality, friendly, knowledgeable and the right amount of attentive. Food was the best we had in Newfoundland.

Excellent experience. We had drinks on the patio and admired the view before supper. The meal was delicious - the pork was extremely juicy and all sides done to perfection. They have a very extensive wine list and suggest pairings for each meal. At appx $50 a meal it is well priced for what it is.
