Honest, homely and simple traditional Asian cooking

Located at Notting Hill Gate, ULI offers a fresh, honest approach to Asian cuisine. Natural limed oak, soft tones of blue and contemporary art give the restaurant a clean and informal look, highlighted by a hanging garden of pendant lights. Our menu encompasses carefully selected dishes from Asia, all prepared using traditional Chinese, Thai, Malay and Singaporean disciplines. We believe that Asian food should be clean, fresh and healthy, and that each dish should always be made from scratch.

Originally established on the All Saints Road in 1997, ULI became a firm favourite among locals and critics alike. At its new home ULI serves lunch and dinner all week as well as an extensive range of snacks, cocktails and beverages.

Lovely local restaurant with fantastic food and wonderful staff. I go with friends occasionally but this time with elderly parents and it was every bit as good. Light and bright, good atmosphere but not noisy!

Lovely restaurant with great seating & service I personally found the crispy beef a little over cooked and the bannna fritter needed some ice cream with it the salt peeper prawns, pork ribs, special fried rice & prawn pad Thai was amazing over all my wife & I will definitely be back

Lovely restaurant in Notting Hill. We liked the menu had a mix on it. We had booked a table, its a small restaurant so I would recommend booking ahead. They did take walk ins though Good service, nice team

The food is ok, but really not very authentic. Everything is deep fried and tastes quite bland. The service was good and food delivered very fast. It’s good to go with young children, they liked it and didn’t have to wait long.

Charming Thai restaurant The food was divine—each dish was a delightful blend of flavours and spices, The personal touch of the owner, who took the time to chat with us, added a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly.

We aren’t from London and found Uli while browsing for restaurants on google. We wanted Asian but couldn’t quite decide for a specific cuisine so the options on the menu were an absolutely perfect mix for us. We went for Vietnamese fresh rolls and sweet corn soup for starters (the soup was quite filling!) and then the salmon fillet, Thai aubergines and tofu in black bean sauce for mains. It turned out to be way too much food but every bit of every dish was absolutely delicious. The staff was very kind and attentive, and we also managed to get a table booking on the day, just a couple hours before we wanted to eat dinner. Great experience and highly recommended!
