UnDefined has been changing the way people think about dining out in Hamilton. Voted one of Hamilton's best all-around restaurants for 2021, 2022, 2023, we are making a big impact on King William Street. With an evolving, seasonal and whimsical approach, our passion is what drives us every day. We strive to push the limits, and for our team, it is just what we love to do. We cook from scratch because that is just the way it should be. We love to challenge the way we all think about dining out.

We believe that there is no reason to put yourself in a box when going out with friends, so we do not do that here. Whether it is a night out with friends, an intimate dinner for two, or just something extraordinary, We are not afraid to take the familiar and turn it into something memorable. If it tastes good, we will put it on a plate, in a glass, or whatever. Our mantra is as simple as eat, drink, and enjoy!

My husband and I dined here for Valentine’s Day and we have been raving about our experience since then! The service was great and the food was even better. Simply phenomenal! Everything we had was good- wild boar dumplings (these are a must!), scallop and pancetta risotto, a feature wagyu steak dish, and a chocolate cherry dessert. Highly recommend Undefined if you’re looking for great food at a very reasonable price!

Our first time here and won’t be our last! We had read so many good reviews and undefined totally lived up to their reputation! We had the risotto, the kale salad, and the hanger steak. Plus the dumplings as an appetizer. The mock tails were also fabulous! Don’t hesitate.

Dinner. Ordered the boar dumplings, duck, risotto, chocolate/cherry cake, a trappist beer, and a Spanish wine. I would order the same app again, was tasty. Mains were great but would likely switch it up next time. Would have preferred more cherry to chocolate ratio on the cake. But was fun to share. Server was nice and friendly. I knew exactly what perfume she was wearing: the Karma Scent from Lush. Loved it. Have you ever watched Slappy and the Stinkers? You have to watch it.

Undefined was advertised as wheelchair accessible. The only thing accessible was the front entrance. Inside the tables are all high tops. There aren’t many, but they’re all high tops. That was a little disappointing for me. Had I known I would not have chose undefined.

We went to Undefined for brunch and we were delighted. We started with the Salted Espresso Caramel Biscuit Board and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and it was a great place to chat and catch up over brunch.

As per usual, the customer service was exceptional! This was our second visit, and we had the pleasure of being served again by Hannah, who always goes above and beyond with her service! Our food was prepared perfectly to order, and the music is always a vibe! Highly recommend!
