   This is so sad to say but this is not the experience it used to be. It's like a sad shell of the former Union. The advertised time was 11am. We drove 2+ hrs only for them not to start until 12:15. The food was awful. It was so cold, greasy, and salty that it was barely palatable. The show was so low energy and lackluster you could just tell that no one wanted to be there. This was such an amazing community staple for over a dozen years for us so to see something that we love so dearly diminished to this level is heartbreaking. We hope that someone comes in and restores this great institution to its former glory.

   There were 5 of us and we were there to watch drag race so it was busy. Kevin was our server. He’s always a sweetheart, quick and efficient. I love Unions Drag Race Friday tradition. It’s a great opportunity to get together with community and watch something. Always a good time.

    We came to Union Cafe to watch the Drag Race premier and got sat at the table closest to the stage where the hosting drag queens sat. For food, we ordered the Reuben & Cajun Alfredo, both of which tasted great and had a favorable price. Our servers were sure to keep our water glasses full and ensured we had a great experience. The noise level was pretty loud, which is to be expected on a night where a drag race episode is airing - but the noise level did not take away from the ambiance! The night had a very good energy and is the reason we continue to come back to Union Cafe so often.
