We have had great experiences at Union Sushi for a number of years, until last night. It was such a let down. The restaurant was not terribly busy as it usually was yet we had next to no service. The food that we managed to order on the first go round came out promptly but since we had no service or attention, we couldn’t order again in time so we left. Even then, we had to ask multiple times to get the check.

Our server was incredibly nice, but the restaurant was empty and the service was SO slow. The only thing I could taste with my sushi was a burnt flavor - I think it was the seaweed, but the whole roll just tasted like charcoal. Ordered the sour cream and chive edamame, and it was honestly just edamame with salt lol left hungry and had a second dinner!

Pushy waitress who couldn’t let me finish speaking before saying “Anything else ??” Tempura was not true Japanese style - rather breaded frozen shrimp. Nigiri sushi was sliced very thin - poor value for cost - very disappointing - especially after going by their 4.6 rating …

Excellent sushi and experience! We sat at the sushi counter with Sushi Mike taking charge on your sushi choices. He is AMAZING! Very creative in his creations and we enjoyed all that he chose for us! Great to watch him work - his precision, his style - a true art! Thank you Mike for making our experience and the celebration of my friend's birthday so memorable!

After making a reservation for a party of 5 we were received quite poorly. Service was awful, to say the least. Never once did our server come to the table with a smile. We felt incredibly rushed and unwelcome and as if we were an annoyance to her. They seemed to be short staffed. After which we did not leave the biggest tip, to which she got a tad hostile and started an argument with my friend. The food was good, but the whole experience was ruined in my opinion due to the experience the server created for us. I unfortunately doubt if we will return, nor will I recommend.
