   Festive atmosphere in a handsome gastropub with decent food. Good for adults and kids alike. I only wish they served a veggie burger.

   Urban Coal Pizza continues to deliver excellent food and service. The pizza was outstanding and our server was attentive throughout the meal. However, despite having an OpenTable reservation, we were disappointed to be seated in an isolated area next to the bathrooms, completely removed from the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere - one of Urban Coal's main draws. When making a reservation, I expected a table in the main dining area. We would have gladly waited for a better table had we been given the option. While the food quality makes this place worth visiting, I'd recommend either specifically requesting main dining room seating when booking, or simply waiting for a spot at the bar instead of using OpenTable. The isolated seating arrangement significantly impacted our dining experience. Pros: Excellent pizza Professional, attentive service Cons: Poor table placement despite reservation No option given to wait for better seating

   I found it loud and crowded. We had a reservation and still had to wait in a tight corner. When we finally got seated it seemed like a side table near the bathroom and there was a spill in a chair we had to ask them to clean up. The food was ok (were out of mozzarella sticks). The wings were very good and different (not your typical drowning in buffalo sauce). We got a plain pie and vodka. The plain was fine (not great but ok) the vodka sauce was less. The cocktails also meh. I got a sangria that was not great. Stick to the basics is my advice.

   This place had been on my list for a while, so I was really excited when they had reservations for the NFL playoff games this past weekend. We walked in for our 8:30 reservation and were informed that they didn't have any tables available despite our confirmed reservation. Their wait staff was quite standoffish and rude. We were told that they didn't hold a table for us (even though we arrived on time) because "other people came in first and needed tables too." Didn't get to try any food/drinks and missed half the NFL playoff game trying to find another restaurant that could seat us. Luckily, City Bistro right down the street had plenty of room, great food, quick service, and we got to watch the game! Don't bother making a reservation or trying to get seated during busy times. I certainly won't be coming back or recommending to any friends.

    Wings were amazing! Pizza was great. They had no trouble accommodating my son’s numerous food allergies.
