   The food was not good and way overpriced for such low quality. The tasting menu was quite basic. The service before getting seated was poor, the communication from the hosts was off putting. But the service provided by server and the quality of wine were great, and the only highlights in the whole experience. I would never dine there again.

   The people were nice and the restaurant itself was pretty unique. But everything else was very poor. We had a reservation for 8:45 and we weren’t given a table until 9:10. Service was good for the first course, we got our first course in the normal amount of time and was pretty good but then after that it was all down hill. It took an hour after that to get the main course. I got steak frites and it was literally just a 5-6 ounce steak with no special sauce or anything on it and a pile fries. It looked like something I could make at home in 15 minutes. My girlfriend got the game hen and it was literally just 1 thigh and that was it. Both were underwhelming in size and flavor and presentation. Then dessert took another hour from the time we finished the main course. It was pretty good but nothing special. 225 dollars and 3 hours later we finally finished at nearly midnight. We honestly could’ve gone to the store got stuff to make all of this food gone home cooked it all, ate and done dishes in this amount of time all for less than 50 dollars.

   Great ambience, valentines special menu was overpriced compared to comparable venues. Our order was not prepared as ordered. Past dining experiences had been terrific so we were eager to try the Valentines dinner but were unimpressed with this experience

   It was Valentines night, so they were well booked up and busy. However, I thought it would cause them to get folks in and out even quicker to accommodate the many bookings they had. We had a 2 hour dining experience with only three courses. Our cocktails took quite a while. The first course got to us before our cocktails and one of the managers brought us sparkling wine because he noticed we didn’t have our cocktails yet. That was a nice gesture. Ironically, our cocktails were delivered immediately after he gave us the free bubbly.

   Our waitress did a great job of single handedly managing the restaurant. She was the only waitress we saw. There was one more person bussing with her. We were shocked at the lack of staff in this usually well managed restaurant. Service was very slow but it wasn’t the fault of the waitress. It was a management problem.

   I wouldn’t go back - it feels very dated. Expensive menu - a small bowl of soup was $16, not served with bread or anything. Definitely just felt like a run of the mill hotel restaurant.

   We enjoyed our meal at UF for son's birthday. Service was very good. Ribeye, cod, and short rib entrees.

   Probably one of the best dining experiences as far as noise level I've had in Portland. Since the ceiling is so high, there's very little noise or echo from other diners or staff - it's great! You can actually hear your companions without having to strain to do so. The food was excellent and well-portioned for the price. Drinks were good, seating was comfortable, and service was pleasant. All around a good choice for an evening dining venue.

    Good service and food. Their house made English muffin in the egg Benedict is really good.
