Farm-to-table dining in the comfort of our home: that is the unique experience you will find at Urban Hearth. Located in a cozy North Cambridge storefront, our intimate dining room, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and exquisitely crafted menu are the heart of our dinner service. Join us for a la carte or at our chef's counter where you'll have the pleasure of interacting with Chef Erin Miller while dining.

We share a story of culture, community, discovery and home. The globally-inspired, locally-sourced dishes we serve celebrate our rich and complex connection with food. The table is set, whether marking a special occasion or the end of a busy day, we look forward to sharing the evening with you. We welcome private event bookings for graduations, birthdays, weddings and more. To equalize the pay disparity between tipped staff & kitchen staff during our busy times, we add a 5% kitchen appreciation fee to each check. We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations.

    Our chef's counter offers 4 seats with an exclusive view into the kitchen. 5-course chefs menu with optional wine pairing. An outstanding farm-to-table meal created right in front of you while you chat with our team of talented chefs. When booking, please share dietary restrictions. Note: Our menu for the chef's counter experience is ideal for adventurous diners. This menu changes daily and not all dietary restrictions and preferences can be accommodated. Please allow at least 2.5 hours for your dinner.

    Ring in the New Year with us at Urban Hearth for a very special evening of food, wine and togetherness. Enjoy a 5 course Farm to Table chef's tasting menu with an optional wine pairing, specialty cocktails and mocktails. Complimentary glass of bubbles and some lovely surprises. We can accommodate some dietary restrictions, call or message us directly for questions. $160 per person. Cancellation policy: 24 hours notice is required for all cancellations or guest will be subject to a $160 per person fee.

    Join us at Urban Hearth for a night celebrating togetherness. Enjoy Chef Erin Miller's award winning 5 course Chef's Tasting menu (winner of Best of Boston's Best Chef's Counter Experience 2024). This tasting is usually reserved for just our coveted chef's counter, but for one night only this will be open for the whole dining room to experience. We'll be offering wine pairings and specialty cocktails/mocktails. We can accommodate vegetarian diners and some dietary restrictions, call or message us directly for questions.

    Urban Hearth is absolutely amazing, my favorite dining experience in the Boston area so far! It is cozy; the wait staff is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, and give provide plenty of privacy to converse, checking in as needed; the food is DELICIOUS. I was reading through the 1 and 2 star reviews before going and almost got cold feet to try this new place (new for me). I am so glad I trusted my gut and friend who recommended this place. Be prepared to try unusual combinations of flavors, it is so delicious, but not your 'standard' fare. Also, I think the staff took feedback from these reviews very seriously, and now encourage you to order something that will take less time to prepare if you order some dishes that might take a bit longer, so you don't starve while waiting. Overall, the two of us had a fantastic experience! Thank you!

    Our server Sam was superb! She is the consummate professional but authentically personable. Sam brightened up our experience with deft attentiveness and deep knowledge of the distinct menu items. NH gal! Hats off to the chef for a masterful taste delight. Foodies, take notice.

    Once again, urban hearth remains my favorite restaurant on earth. As a vegetarian and vegan, everything is absolutely delicious and so beautifully displayed. It’s such a nice dining experience. Thank you chef Erin miller -  it was the best way to spend my birthday..  miss the chocolate chili gelato. I don’t even like chocolate and I love this. 🙏🏻 KB
