   Urban Roast is a lovely spot with beautiful decor, and their Christmas decorations are especially stunning right now - very festive and cozy! The ambiance is definitely a highlight. However, they do limit time at the table, which can feel a bit rushed. Also, during my visit, there seemed to be some smoke or something in the air, possibly from oil, that made both me and my friend tear up. It was a bit uncomfortable and took away from the experience. Overall, it's a great place to visit for the vibe and decor, but I hope they can address the air quality issue.

   The food is awful. The scrambled eggs had sulfured eggs in it which I’m not sure how that is even possible. The salmon avocado toast is listed as smoked salmon but is actually raw like sushi grade salmon. Service is awful honestly. My sister in law is a local and said don’t go for food just drinks.. should of listened

   Terrible service, drinks were ridiculously priced and made with no care. Only recommend going for photos and leaving quickly bc it’s not worth the money or time

   HORRIBLE service. Took 45 min to get a drink and waitress kept forgetting to bring plates and silverware. Constantly having to flag down staff who are nowhere to be found. Espresso martini flight was supposed to have different flavors but all were the same just different toppings. Staff did not tell us they had run out of the flavor syrups.

   Decor and ambiance was incredible and creative! Drinks were absolutely delicious and fresh. Our meals were okay but I expected much more. I ordered a salad with chicken which was very dry and fries which were obviously cooked from frozen when I expected a basket of homemade and hand cut.

   The hostess was very vague about “checking our table” and it took over 20 minutes to get seated after the first people in our party arrived. We were then sat in a section with no other guests and no server. The server was surprised to see us seated there. The holiday decor was amazing but the service left a lot to be desired. We didn’t have food so I can’t speak to that but the drinks were tasty once they arrived but definitely over priced.

   We loved the atmosphere at Urban Roast. The cocktails were amazing and we tried several items from the menu and enjoyed them all.

   First, two caveats. 1) I'm old and don't hear well. 2) I hope last night's dinner was the exception. Reserved a table for six at 5:30 on December 26. Was seated immediately. The place was packed and the noise level - for me - was overwhelming. Like being on an airport tarmac. But the real problem was the service. And I'm not blaming the wait-person; blaming the kitchen. Order was taken and drinks came out quickly. Then a looong wait for the first dishes to arrive. And that was just two of the dishes. One was already cold. So we waited and waited and 10+ minutes later one more dish came out. Now we've been in the restaurant nearly an hour and just three of the six of us had food and one was not edible. And we couldn't find out wait-person to send back that cold one. 10 minutes later, for two of the three missing dinners, the wait-person brought out the side order of fries. Now it's been well over an hour and we have one cold dinner, two proper dinners, and two orders of fries. Eventually the last three orders came out and the cold burger was returned. It came back in a reasonable amount of time. Just a very disappointing experience. Oh, and the drinks. They were fine but very expensive. (Caveat: I don't usually order drinks so maybe I'm just behind the times.)

   The atmosphere was beautiful. We enjoyed all of the Christmas decor! When ordering I was told a sandwich came with certain ingredients and it was brought out differently. The item was returned and replaced in a timely manner. All the food was served timely and was great. The drinks were great as well! The only thing that’s raised concerns was when asking for the check we did not receive a physical copy, we were read off what was ordered and given the total amount verbally. We then informed our server that we were paying cash and then suddenly presented with a new total balance. It raised high concerns as to whether the server was automatically including the tip in our payment if we’re going to pay with a card compared to cashed. I work in finance and service fees wouldn’t have decreased our bill amount by almost 12 dollars. As we received our change the waitress then asked my spouse “you know the tip is not included right?” We are not a family that goes out to an establishment without tipping but for the assumption that we were not going to tip seemed a bit disrespectful. This ruined our experience for us which was upsetting because the food, drinks and atmosphere were all enjoyable!

    The place is beautiful for photos, but the food is terrible. My Orono salmon repost was brought back burnt and hard. We didn't want to complain because it was Christmas. But the food and service is terrible.
