   Chef background here. Monday night first time visit. Greatly exceeded my expectations! Super energy as the place was crowded. Server was knowledgeable and professional. Tapas came out incredibly quick, well presented and flavor packed, temperatures appropriate. Impressive. Will definitely return.

   Honestly…this place is amazing! The service and the food can not be beat. They got the ambiance right too. The chipirones are my favorite, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If you are lucky enough to dine here, you are in for a real treat.

   First time here and definitely not our last. We went for our anniversary and the restaurant was perfect, the ambience was really lovely and the service was excellent. The food was outstanding, everything we had was so good from the olives, artichoke, shrimp fresh warm bread to the sea bass. We’ll definitely be back !

   Our favorite restaurant in North County. Basque Cake is tremendous. Seabass the same. Ham appetizer and pastas bravas are delightful. Ask to sit in Kimmie’s section. She’s great.

   We attended a Valentine's Day special meal where the only remaining reservation was at 9pm. That's a bit late for seniors, and later staff graciously moved us from 9 to 5pm. So thankful and it set the tone for the entire evening. Food was delicious. David, our waiter, was great. Courses came and departed as if choreographed. This dinner was only our second time at Valentina's. This time was a real step up and a most pleasurable experience.

    Came here for Valentine’s Day. Perfect choice and ambiance. Easily the best artichoke dish we’ve ever had. The steak and schnitzel were very delicious as well.
