   Overall, our experience was extremely dissapointing. Saw rave reviews online so booked a dinner here - the only thing that lived up to expectations was the ambience. Staff was extremely nice, although it took 30 minutes to get a diet coke. Food was horrendous - I’ve never had worse at a restaurant like this. The most expensive item on the menu, their skirt steak, was served completely cold. Their bao buns were clearly made of frozen fish that was then flash fried, horrendous taste with cold buns making it even worse. The sushi was not horrible but had a weird aftertaste. The fries were amazing! And the edamame was good. Overall, 2/10 experience and would definitely not go back.

   Food was fantastic and surprisingly justifiable for the price. View is amazing and the crew were very attentive. I loved the Japanese inspired menu. And I’ll definitely be here again at some point.

   I had a lovely dinner celebration at Valerie while my parents were in from out of town. The service was phenomenal—the staff were attentive and went out of their way to accommodate our needs! My mom can be quite picky, but our server had lovely recommendations that suited her tastes perfectly. Every dish was delicious, especially the XO Fried Rice, which became a fan favourite at the table. Our evening was so special and memorable thanks to Valerie! I highly recommend this spot for a great dining experience with beautiful city views.

   Had a great experience with my wife last nigh for our anniversary. The restaurant exceeded our expectations in ambiance and service. The views are spectacular! I was also super impressed that they were able to accommodate my allergies to shellfish and fish so well. Food was super tasty we will definitely be coming back soon!

   First time diners to Valerie we came for my sisters birthday the views were incredible and the server Haniffa was fantastic! The food was delicious and super tasty! Really love the rib fritters and Valerie roll! Afterwards the brought out a little dessert and sparkler for my sisters birthday she loved it definitely will be coming back!

   Came in on a quiet Sunday evening and were created right away at the door by a pleasant hostess who walked us over to this table with a fantastic view. Service was really quick and food came out perfect the Wagyu steak melts in your mouth it was so tasty! Everyone was kind and we really loved our udon noodles as well! Please tell the waitress she was amazing!

   I chose Valerie for a special night because of it's views of downtown and the live music featured on Saturday nights. Unfortunately we didn't get to experience either of these things as we were seated in the back of the restaurant in a separate section where you couldn't see a view at all - other than the pool. No musician in this spot either. Very disappointing since this was the main reason for choosing this restaurant. I've had better sushi at my local but the gyoza and the crispy chicken were lovely. If you intend to visit Valerie for the view it's probably best to request a table with one. Don't assume even though that's how the restaurant is marketed.

   the ambiance was amazing to take photos! great atmosphere for a birthday or date night very intimate! the hostess was very kind, the service was nice! they forgot our cocktails but noticed and comped it from our bill which was really sweet! food came out quickly and was delicious! they even offered a free dessert for my mom’s birthday with sparklers on it! it was overall a great experience! would come back!

    The food is really just ok. Starter is Food court level; Fish is burnt in some area and lack flovor; Fruit is not fresh with some fridge smell. Great view though.
