   Greeted with a host on the phone and had to wait for him to acknowledge us. The space is gorgeous! We were seated in a back area, despite many open tables in the more lively area and then accompanied by a huge, very loud birthday celebration. We had two servers: one was delightful and professional, the other a bit dramatic and way too touchy. Menu suggestions were spot on, and the food was great. We will return!

   Had no idea when I booked it for dinner with a new business partner, but I love Mediterranean food. It did not disappoint. Very authentic offerings in an atmosphere on the river that further enhances the ambiance despite it being -1 outside. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

   My husband and I have never been to Vasili's but thoroughly enjoyed it! It is a beautiful restaurant in the heart of downtown Naperville. We got there for a 5:00 reservation and the restaurant was very full with people and energy. Their food was wonderful even though we rarely have Greek food. We both had their flat iron steak--delicious--along with Brussell sprouts. Our server was wonderful, willing to answer any question about any entree. We are looking forward to going back to try other selections.

   We love the layout and lighting. This was our first time. Servers were super friendly. It's really the food. 1. My gryo plater had the meet dry as heck and with a strong lemon twang. 2. The Tzatizi was very tart. I would repeat as maybe it was a bad prep day Chuck K

   Danny was our server and she did a fabulous job!! Vasili's chips for appetizer was GREAT!! Dinner choices: Lamp Shank- LOVED this! would definitely order again. Chicken - LOVED this....would definitely order again! Lavraki - sea bass. The flavor on the sea bass was GREAT! The skin was charred and the tail was still attached. I had to move the skin to get to the meat of the fish. I would have preferred to just have the meat of the fish. Still good....just not my preference with the skin. And, I loved the tomatoes that came with this dish and would they would add at least 15 more....so I could have had one with every bite of fish.

    This was our first visit to Vasilis which is a Mediterranean Restaurant in Naperville. IL. We had a reservation and called to see if we could be seated early. They told us to come over and they would accommodate us when possible. We were seated upon arrival, 30 minutes before our reservation. Excellent. I ordered a Zero Proof Mis-Key Sour (lyre American malt, lemon juice, apple and falernum syrup) which was very similar to a Whiskey sour. Nice job on that. For appetizers we ordered Saganaki (fried kefalograviera cheese, lemon, oregano and added Wood Fired Pita. It was flamed tableside. A great show. For our main Course we ordered Gyros (sliced lamb & beef gyros, tomato, onion, tzatziki, pita) and Chicken Souvlaki which was served on skewers served with tzatziki, cucumber, and shaved onion. For dessert we ordered Loukoumades which is listed as traditional Greek donuts, honey, walnuts. We enjoyed it all. Would I go back yes. 5/5 stars.
