Outstanding food and service. Beverages and food delivered promptly. Great atmosphere with adjustable lighting and very comfortable seating. Fantastic for intimate dinner or parties. Portions very generous. Authentic spice/heat and flavour to die for.

Had an incredible dining experience at Vela Restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Quality, fresh, vibrant, flavoursome food and excellent service. The worst part was having to choose what not to have! Scallops, betal leaf and prawn dumplings were soooo good. Spicy noodles and duck curry were also delicious. Can't wait to go back to try more dishes, but will find it hard not to order the same again. Dessert looked really good, but we couldn't fit it in

My fave restaurant when in West End. My boss introduced me here & now sharing with my friends. Great food, presentation & ambience. Come to the Sunshine Coast we soooo need a great dining offering of class & quality

Nice place and great quality on food and service. The only small downfall is the noise but I suggest maybe have a place for people who loves a quiet corner.

The overall dining experience was not very pleasant. I arrived at the restaurant at 11:40 AM, and despite the place being empty, the staff were noticeably indifferent. When I informed the server about my reservation, they did not acknowledge it with any words or expressions. Instead, they silently led me to my seat with a blank face. Throughout the entire experience, there was no sense of service—no friendly greeting, no interaction, nothing at all.
