We spent New Year's Eve at Verbena and just had an outstanding experience. The four-course prix fixe dinner was really amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect for a special night out. Our server, Matthew, was above and beyond! He was incredibly attentive and kind and was ready to answer any questions we had. My husband loved the Bananas Foster, and when he mentioned it to Matthew, the chefs sent us home with an extra one, which was such a thoughtful surprise! The food, service, and attention to detail were all top-notch. We can't wait to come back and highly recommend Verbena for a memorable dining experience!

Food was wonderful. You are VERY proud of your wine list- $16-17 dollar per glass for above average wine is too high in this market. Much better options available in KC.

Dinner was fabulous. Emma made great suggestions. every item was a hit. Bang Bang Shrimp, Wedge salad (awesome dressing), Short Ribs, and Ribeye Pork chop were all great. Wine was great. Wonderful experience

Very disappointing. I met some friends for a holiday lunch expecting a wonderful experience. I have always enjoyed my time at Verbena. This visit was not on par. Service was really slow, disengaged (grumpy) server - she was not interested in helping us. Food was just okay. Not sure when I will be back honestly.
