    Everything was spectacular! We were blown away by the service and the entire staff, including the owners and the executive chef. We really enjoyed our time, and the amazing food at Verde.

    The food and drinks were exceptional! Dillion was our server and he was on top everything! Loved his drink recommendation! We had the restaurant week course and it was so good! Highly recommend for a date night!

    Noise level so high we could not hear waitstaff explain menu options. Service was quite slow. The food was acceptable but not great. Portions were small. We were charged $1.50 for a single slice of bread to accompany a fish dish that had a tasty sauce.

    Great 1st time dining experience. Had the restaurant week menu. Well thought out menu and food prepared just right. Monica was our waitress and was fantastic. Staff was very good. We were able talk to the owner...he loves Santa Ynez/Santa Rita hills wines. We are definitely going back. Food & drink prices were very reasonable. Upstairs is the restaurant and downstairs is the bar. It's beautiful. Kind of a "speak easy/Sinatra" vibe. Very comfy couches/chairs. Doug & Nancy Gasperik

    I typically don't go out to restaurants during restaurant week, however the last time I went here it was so good for lunch I decided to give it a try. The offering for the week was a great paring of 4 items. I went for the steak, and it was amazing. Perfectly prepared. The starter was a trout preparation with a small toast point. The salad had a wonderful dressing, and the desert was a mixture of a frozen delight and tangy fruit. This is a wonderful addition to the vibrant restaurant scene in the area.

    Loved everything about this restaurant, our first time visiting. From the host to the busboy to the server, everyone was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Miranda's review of the menu and recommendations were spot on, and she picked up our cues effortlessly. Complimentary sparkling water? LOVE. Brief, curated cocktail and wine list? LOVE. And to cap it off, everything we ate was delicious - the pickled and roasted carrots, the boquerones, the tartare, the special Black Cod, and both pastas - we didn't leave a bite on any of our four plates. Kudos to the chef and bar team, and to the whole house, we really loved it.

    Salmon and Hanachi crudo was so salty it was almost inedible. Salmon tasted old. Hanger steak was burned on the outside to the point of being very bitter. Steak tartare and seafood stew were very good as well as the cocktails. All the food have great concepts they just feel a little clumsy and heavy handed in execution right now. Could be much better.

    The food was outstanding and the hospitality was on point. Love having such a beautiful place in our neighborhood!

    Excellent food and decor and service. My only downside was the dessert offerings. We were hoping for one that was featured in MODERN LUXURY magazine. The one we ordered was small and should have been half the price ($12 was too much for a small mousse). Other than that it was an amazing meal with very creative offerings.
