In spite of specializing in seafood, the cocoa short rib special with risotto was outstanding! The meat was tender and lean, seasoned well.

Celebrated our anniversary! Dillon was our waiter. Brought us champagne for our anniversary toast. Had the specials for the night. Oysters with caviar and foam. Cocoa dusted braised short rib over risotto. So good! Chocolate granache dessert, yummy! And he brought us their house made limoncello which is fabulous. Service was impeccable! Decor was fabulous, great place to relax and enjoy!

We were a table of 4. 2 people ordered the scallops for dinner. The price was $42 for 2 scallops the size of a quarter. I'm not exaggerating. They were sent back. We have been going to Veronica's since they opened. We will not be back since they decided that gauging their customers is more important than providing good food at a fair price.

We had not been to Veronica's in over a year, and the food was delicious this time! Every entree had a sauce that added the perfect zest to the entree or the appetizer without overpowering the meal. Muscles, octopus, redfish, grouper, and salmon were all delicious. Olive oil cake was yummy. We were delighted! Rebecca, our server, was fantastic. However, it is pricey, so be prepared. It is worth it!

We sat outside which is always a favorite for us when we are at Veronica. Food was hot and delicious. We had the oysters, avocado roll and the redfish. Always our favorites. Katie was our server and probably one of the best we have had at your restaurant. Will definitely be back next time we are in Sarasota.

The oysters were absolutely amazing. Best we’ve had in a long time. Fresh from PGI. Try the Fish did, just try it. Meals were great too. Service was perfect. My only complaint was the noise level. It was a Tuesday night, about 2/3 full, and it was difficult to hold a conversation. It was easy to hear other conversations as well; everyone was speaking up to get over the din.
