   Our three course Thanksgiving dinner ($70 a plate)was poorly executed at every turn and not good. At all. We both had the corn and crab bisque, which was excellent but 80°. At the risk of being a Karen we sent ours back politely, and 20 minutes later an only slightly warmer bowl of half the volume was returned. The turkey, cornbread dressing, and sweet potato mash was cafeteria quality, with the cornbread dressing and sweet potatoes being especially poor. The turkey was nicely brined and thankfully had salt because the other two components did not. The sweet potato mash resembled baby food. The third course, the sweet potato pie, was grainy with poor crust and 1 teaspoon of orange cream on the side that was not nearly sufficient. Overall this was a major letdown on an out of town holiday. On the plus side it was a super cool venue and our waiter was kind. and that is why we gave two stars instead of one. I still thought about giving one star due to the incredible scarcity of gravy on our plates and the fact that it Already developed a skin on it from being cold like everything we were served.

   Our experience wasn’t the best. We participated with the Thanksgiving meal, it wasn’t very crowded but took an extremely long time. All food was closer to room temperature than warm. The meal wasn’t served as advertised, with food missing. We were brought the check before the end of the meal. It was just all subpar for a restaurant that supposedly has a good reputation, which was disappointing for it being Thanksgiving and at that price point. The only really good thing is the unique environment- it’s a beautiful old church that has been excellently renovated.

   Can not say enough good things about our dinner at Vessel. My wife and I went while on vacation for Thanksgiving Dinner. They had a three course fixed menu. Every course was Delicious. The pork was Phenomenal. Cooked to Perfection and was so tender. The drinks were strong and flavorful. Our server Ben was Fantastic. He was working Thanksgiving, yet was cheerful, prompt, and a pleasure to talk to. For being busy it was not overly loud and had a Great selection of background music playing. Last but not least, the restaurant was stunning! The Old Church was so Beautiful and the Bar was so neatly designed. Will absolutely be back when in town

   We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal at Vessel. You can’t beat the atmosphere of this old building; it’s beautiful inside. Pros: ambience, food quality, service, location, parking. Cons: music selection and volume- a little too much ( if the background music is noticeable it’s too much), seating- tables are a little close, price- adding an appetizer and complimentary glass of wine or beverage would have made it worth $70. The food portion was generous for this fixed menu, however I felt it was overpriced. We would probably go back for a special occasion.

   I recently held my birthday dinner in the courtyard at Vessel and it couldn't have been a better experience. Everything from the ambiance to the service to the food and drinks was perfection. It's a lovely courtyard with beautiful lighting (and a tv for those wanting to keep up with whatever major game is on, though the sound was not loud or distracting in the slightest). Our server was attentive and engaging, and kept up flawlessly with our large group. The food was delicious; we ordered an assortment of items for appetizers, entrees, and desserts (my faves being the smoked fish dip, seared scallop risotto, the filet, and the key lime pie), and everything was wonderful! While we loved sitting outside, the interior is absolutely stunning and we will definitely go back to sit inside. If you live locally or are visiting, this place is definitely worth a stop.

   We had a wonderful server take care of us, gave a great recommendation on the scallop risotto- amazing. Cocktails were perfect, and the building is spectacularly beautiful. We will definitely be back for brunch.

    Vessel is absolutely amazing. We went for my friend's birthday and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. We started with the fish dip and calamari and for our Entress we had the seared scallop risotto and seafood pasta. For dessert we had the bread pudding. The cocktails were equally amazing. Everything was exceptional from start to finish! We are planning to come back for brunch this weekend.
