   Was very excited to bring my dad there for a treat as he loves new experiences. We were basically ignored by the staff except for one busboy who was actually responsive. We arrived pretty early for the buffet with almost an empty restaurant. We were sat in a very awkward table. Asked to move to somewhere more comfortable hoping for a window but then was sat in a booth that was facing the bar. It was a very lack luster attempt to make our dining experience worth the cost of the buffet. Asked for tea three times and never got it but was charged twice for it. It was an extremely underwhelming and demoralizing experience. Didn’t feel very good leaving. The food was meh. I had high hopes and had planned to bring my sister for her birthday. Would rather eat at the food court. Cannot emphasize how disappointing the whole experience was.

   Servers were attentive and polite. Food was fresh and flavorful. Love the prime rib and fresh fruits/salads. Would be perfect if there were more hot entrees to chose from.

   Sadly they have changed the recipe for the Menke's cake and the semi-freddo desserts and we didn't enjoy them at all this time. Wine list by the glass is lacking and they don't seem to change the Coravin wines by the glass so not very exciting. Service was excellent and friendly all around.

   Our first table was filthy like it hadn’t been wiped down in months. We were moved which was good. Dirty wine glass. Rib steak was gristly and extremely tough. Was not the fault of the server at all, but I won’t be back. I’ve had consistently poor experiences there.

   Honestly fantastic experience all around from the food being perfect, great wine, fun ambience and great service -- especially since we were a large group of 9. Victor has really stepped up these days vs a couple years ago.

   We visited for a special family birthday. Booked weeks in advance, brought in a custom cake. It was an event. Upon arrival we signed a cake waiver and dropped off the cake to be stored Again...they knew it was a birthday dinner. We were then led to a table on the plastic enclosed patio, in February?!? There were heaters, but the table was not level, and the area very cramped. I noted the dining room was practically empty. I requested we be moved into the dining room, and that was accommodated. But, honestly it made zero sense that we were placed on the patio at all.. and the table being so unlevel and crowded was off-putting for such a "nice" restaurant. 1 of the appetizers we ordered was misheard by the server. When the mistake was noted upon delivery, our server seemed irritated. A menu was brought and the server asked my adult son to physically point out the item he had ordered. The Sea Urchin sashimi we ordered, was heard as Seared Tuna. When the server then reordered the correct item, he returned a few minutes later to explain it was not available and another kind of Sea Urchin sushi had to be substituted. It was not a day ender, but the response to the miscommunication was a bit curt. Dinner was pretty ok. The proteins were well prepared and tasty, but the accompanyments were meh. The "fried" potato patties were greasy and flavorless, while the mashed potato side tasted like instant potato's.m - was really disappointing. Vegetable dishes were a bit better. Drinks were good and service was attentive in keeping them full. Our cake was served properly with the candles we brought, and they also brought out a slice of house cake for the birthday guest, after we ate the cake we brought. Overall, for the $800 our group of 6 spent, the experience was lackluster. I would not return.

   Interesting that your highest level for noise is “energetic” when I would describe it as very distracting from the ambience. It was very noisy and difficult to have a conversation. Also, had I known I had to go outside to get to the restaurant, I would have brought my coat from my room. Perhaps you should let guests know before their arrival. Honey Salt is in the hotel but you do not have to exit to go to the restaurant so it’s a safe assumption if guests are not aware.

   Nice wine, Awesome service, Great view, Steak tartare so good, Prawn cocktail is a must, Lobster n crab bisque portion small, Filet Mignon taste like wood, dry and not juicy at all, DON'T ORDER, Thanks to our server, Jonathan and restaurant manager Alan who understand the quality of beef and exchange another plate - maybe it's not the first time. BEWARE of the tips - restaurant base on the tipping percentage AFTER taxes. YOU ARE TIPPING MORE THAN YOU ANTICIPATE.

    As always, the Victor is amazing! Food and service is always lined up. So if you haven’t been there, I encourage you to visit.
