                                                                  Our server was delightful, but the food was nothing special. Charleston has so many wonderful restaurants, so this meal was a disappointment. The twice baked potatoes were cold and looked like leftover potato skins ordered from Applebee’s the night before. The tuna tartare was very tasty.

                                                                  We arrived at 7:30pm on a Sat night for our reservation. Although the place was not real busy, we were kept waiting about 20 mins and told to go to the bar. Half the bar had people at it and the other half had left over food and drinks that no one could bother to clean up. Several other tables were not cleaned either. The bartender ignored us for several minutes while he continued to talk to a customer. The manager finally seated us and said “sorry, I had to clean up a spill”, which is why we couldn’t be seated, I guess. The waiter was very nice and came over with pretzel bread. We ordered, and then waited, and waited and waited some more. When we saw several tables with no food and a table that had been there when we walked in just get their salads, we knew it was time to leave. All in, we were there for about an hour and couldn’t even get a salad delivered. So no, we didn’t try any food but the pretzel bread. It was good but an odd choice for a steakhouse. Then to add insult to injury, Victor’s reported us to Open Table as a no-show. You need to do better, and we won’t be back.

                                                                  My $48 filet was over cooked and sent back. By the time my new steak came out the other person with me was finished eating. Our server was fabulous and kept apologizing. However when we spoke to the manager she was not very apologetic and did not offer any compensation.

                                                                  We went for Restaurant Week and the restaurant was overwhelmed. We had a great server but the food and drinks came Out way too slow. Cocktails took 30 minutes. We were there 1 hour 45 minutes before entree arrived. Never got dessert.
