This restaurant prices were high, portions small and not authentic Spanish. The paella is tomatoe sauce based and not saffron rice. The octopus has more potatoe salad than octopus and the dessert menu doesn’t even have churros con chocolate. The reataurant is beautiful inside but not a reataurant that i would go to again! ps - tacos are mexican and not from spain!!

We were happy to try out this new Spanish restaurant in our area. We were blown away by their fantastic job creating a lovely, inviting setting. It truly is a beautiful space. If only everything else matched. Firstly, my partner enjoys having a cocktail before served appetizers and requested that from our waitress. The chef had other ideas, so the waitress brought the apps during our drinks. The staff hovered over us during the entire meal, waiting to take our plates away and get the next. We felt very rushed. We ordered the shrimp ajillo, a basic Spanish dish...nothing but ordinary, and the croquettes, which were too well done. We shared the seafood paella as it usually is large and has a forty-something price, so we assumed it would be. There were a few shrimp, maybe two scallops, a couple of clams, and several minute mussels, which were also overcooked. The rice itself was too tomatoey and burnt around the edges. If you want great paella in this area, go to Ibiza in Chappaqua, even if it is off the menu. It's almost big enough for four, filled with seafood, and perfectly cooked. It is disappointing that such a beautiful restaurant doesn't have great food to match. But, for those who do not have discerning tastebuds for inspiring Spanish food, they may be successful.

An oasis of excellent food in a luxurious setting. A very welcome restaurant to the area. My only negative is the noise level - not the background chatter noise of a warm friendly restaurant, but the incessant thumping of loud background music. Totally out of place in a fine restaurant such as this. There is no need for this kind of music in an elegant restaurant. Very annoying and disturbing. Other than that, the food was excellent, very interesting selections, and not overpriced considering the elegance of the restaurant and the uniqueness of some of the menu items. There was a large staff of attentive servers. Overall, but for the loudness of the background music, an excellent experience and worthwhile.

like every new restaurant, there bumps in the road at the beginning. being fans of the sister restaurant, Augustines we were excited to try Vida. parking is tough. we were seated as soon as we came in but waited for a bit before anyone came to the table. drinks took a while too and one was not prepared as ordered. once again we waited to give our food order. food came and we felt much better. had 3 tapas to start. octopus(very good) mussels(verygood) meatballs(good) we ordered a paella that had chicken and rabbit and escargot. it was good but we couldnt tell the rabbit from the chicken. looking to order some well we waited. a good cheesecake for dessert. like i said some bumps but its early and we will definitely be going back
