   Super expérience! On a adoré comme toujours. C’étais la première fois pour mon copain et il a trouvé le resto fascinant!! On y retourne bientôt c’est certain! Merci à notre serveur aussi pour son excellent service et son attention!!

   We noted it was my spouse’s birthday on the reservation. They did send out a piece of cake with a sparkler and for that I am grateful. We were seated in the back corner beside the kitchen door which kept hitting my chair throughout the dinner, our view was of the stairs going to the second floor and the kitchen door, not the old Montreal beautiful old building we were hoping for. The wine list severely lacks Canadian options at a time when we are all trying to support our industries. The cocktail was cloyingly sweet. The food was disappointing and lacked flavour. The pastas were not cooked properly- the steak was less than a cm thick, and it was the largest on the menu - it was grey when it was ordered medium - which isn’t acceptable for a steakhouse. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. We regret not spending our time in Vieux-Port Montreal at another establishment that would have been more welcoming with better food.

    My son referred to our NY strips at this restaurant as "diner steak". He was bang on with that description. Our great server could overcome the poor steak, weak French onion soup, and cold vegetables very disappointing.
