This family-owned gem, nestled in the heart of Murray Hill, has been serving delicious food since 1981. There is a warm Mediterranean feeling to the setting; a perfect showcase for the exceptional Italian & Croatian food that is served.

The menu features many homemade pastas, classics, and Croatian delicacies, such as seafood Buzara (traditional Dalmatian stew with sea bass, shrimp and clams) and Pasticada (traditional meat with gnocchi). Seasonal items are also available throughout the year, such as soft shell crabs and lager-infused roast pork. Also featured is the Osso Buco, braised veal shank over rice or gnocchi, Vitelli alla Griglia, a signature dish showcasing the broiled king veal chop, and the Pollo Berulia, a chef's special of chicken sautéed in white wine with wild mushrooms and artichoke hearts. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are also available. The extensive wine list features an array of Italian and Croatian wines.

Great local Italian restaurant in Murray Hill that treats everyone like family and locals. Went after the theater and had a great time in a very cute and intimate spot that isn't flashy but high on cozy and warmth. Service was outstanding, food was solid with large portions and fair pricing for the quality of the product they provide. Kudo's to the team @ Villa Berlin.

Of the many Italian restaurants in Manhattan Villa Berulia is always our favorite. The dishes are delightful and the staff treats you like family.

Un pequeño restaurante familiar con alta gastronomía y servicio impecable. El osobuco y las pastas son lo mejor. Cenar allí te transporta al norte de Italia.

The food was made well and not in small servings at all. The ambience was outstanding at night where you felt that it truly was a family restaurant. The service was nothing short of outstanding and perfect. It was me and my girlfriends anniversary and they made sure to give the best they could. They were always friendly when they came by our table, patient and fast. They gifted us 2 glasses of red wine, a dessert to celebrate our anniversary and even a bottle of wine when we left the restaurant. I would highly recommend you come here with your loved ones because they truly care about you here. 10/10

This is a quiet and interesting place to have lunch… Every nook and cranny is special. You are catered to as soon as you walk in the door. Lunch menu is varied and appetizers are generous. Convivial!
