Featuring a comprehensive selection of more than 200 whiskeys alongside what has been called the country’s best burger, Village Whiskey is an instant classic. Envisioned by Chef Garces as a spot where he and his team could enjoy a drink and a snack after a long night in the kitchen, the restaurant’s focal point is the central bar that is home to their near-encyclopedic catalogue of Chef Garces’ favorite spirit, whiskey. Our able bartenders shake and stir classic and contemporary cocktails in a space evocative of a Prohibition-era speakeasy. It has been years since we had a meal at Village Whiskey PHL. Tonight was as good as we remembered. We ate in the bar area even though we had a reservation in the dining room. A great vibe and our server was attentive and the meal was more casual. It was nice sitting in a bar and not having one or more flat screens staring at us. I do appreciate a good sports bar but this was a nice change of pace. Look forward to our next visit.

Awesome burgers. Duck fat fries and cheese sauce were delicious. Cool vibe and atmosphere.

Best burgers we’ve ever had!! Seating was a little cramped. Cocktails were very good as well.

Food and drinks were great, as always, and our server Todd was very attentive and friendly. We have been to Village Whiskey a # of times over the years and plan on returning again in the near future.

Village Whiskey provided the perfect December date night experience! We stopped in after an afternoon of museum hopping. It was happy hour and the prices were great. We loved the meat and cheese platter - the smoked cheese was delicious. For our entrees we had the Village burger with duck fat fries and the steak frites. Both were excellent. Our Manhattan and Old Fashioned were top notch. Atmosphere was lively and the service was excellent!
