Our unique Vinothek restaurant celebrates Italian and Bavarian cuisine, for a blend of tastes and cultures. Our love of good food and good wine is apparent when you walk in our door. Our extensive and impressive wine list includes up to 20 wines by the glass, so you can enjoy wine samplings that reflect your specific tastes. Or discuss your preferences with our staff, all wine lovers themselves.
Like the Geisel Family, we source our food from special family-run producers, so you enjoy ingredients that define our commitment to quality and regional freshness. In the same way our buttery-smooth San Daniele ham, for example, is special to the Vinothek, so are many of our wines that we source from small, privately held wineries.
Our homemade pasta complements our extensive wine list and our menu changes weekly, to celebrate the freshest ingredients available.

I brought a fiend after being a guest each time awe are in Munich. Such a lovely place and love the chicken liver crostini. And the veal cheeks were amazing.

My dinner at Vinothek exceeded my expectations. I was seated promptly at my reserved time and greeted by the best server. His wine recommendation was on point, a white Austrian. I chose the herb cream soup which was quite flavorful. Basket of fresh bread came and was crusty and fresh. The micro croutons were a treat for the senses! I was torn between the cod and veal saltimbocca and another great recommendation by my waiter for the cod. Pan seared, flaky, delicious. Ended my fine meal with the honey mousse and lavender ice cream for dessert. I did not leave the table disappointed. Total tab was approx €90. Thought it interesting that the server mentioned tip was not included and could leave one if I wanted.

Bei der Vorspeise Marinierte Tomaten war lediglich eine Scheibe Tomate zu finden. Bei der Hauptspeise Rücken vom Kalb war das Fleisch nicht wirklich warm (war es tiefgefroren?) Die Kräuterschaumsuppe war sehr gut, jedoch zu teuer Insgesamt zu übertrieben teuer für so kleine Portionen

War schon seit ein paar Jahren nicht mehr da und bereue es zutiefst. Service, Platz, Essen alles einfach richtig klasse... Chapeau an das Serviceteam und die Gelegenheit die letzte Doppelmagnum Tausend Weiss 2009 zu trinken. Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht :-)
