We went for the view, but there was so much fog, we had no view. Food was very good, classic/modern. Foie gras was excellent, Duck breast was perfectly cooked. Helpful sommelier and very good service overall. Not the place for “typical” Hungarian food, more of an upscale international cuisine with Hungarian influence.

Amazing place and food was out of this world , the staff was amazing and the whole experience is a 10/10 defo back again

Excellent ambiance and views of Budapest. Fine and comfortable dining with a thoughtful menu. Delicious cocktails and wines. Service was good but a little slow. Plan at a minimum for a luxurious two hour dining experience. We will return!

Restaurant avec vue incroyable. Ambiance décontractée mais chic. Un grand merci à Inès qui a été d’une extrême gentillesse avec nous. Le goulasch était très bon et goûteux. Le poisson frais. Les goûts d’une manière générale étaient justes.

It was a great evening in a really wonderful restaurant. We enjoyed the food and the service and it´s worth the price. We were expecting a great view - that is why we booked the restaurant primarily - but we were unlucky, it was foggy and we did not see anything. Well, that´s life, the food was definitively worth the visit. Service was a bit stressed and sometimes we had to wait a while. Most of them were extremly friendly and helpful. We were not in a rush but at some point we felt like it would be nice if someone would come around. Try the cocktails, they are amazing! We ordered bread and butter, think that was a mistake, it was a hugh and delicious bread and if we had finished it in total we could never had eaten the menu ;). I was not able to make a dessert, what a pitty. But overall, really good.

I travel to Budapest regularly, and I always make a point to visit Virtu—it’s easily the best restaurant in the city. The staff are consistently friendly and kind, and the food is exceptional. Plus, the view is simply breathtaking. I highly recommend it to everyone!

I had an amazing time at Virtu Restaurant in Budapest! The panoramic view from the rooftop was absolutely stunning, giving a perfect backdrop to the meal. The staff was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the experience feel special without being overly formal. The food was a delightful twist on Hungarian classics, with soup dishes. And the cocktails—especially the ones inspired by the bartenders—were a great touch. If you’re looking for delicious food, great service, and incredible views all in one place, I highly recommend Virtu!
